{Alex's POV}

I was confused. What my ma- what Cole said didn't make sense. Never has there been word of a wolf taking control of the body he was in. So how could I believe him. I had listened to his heart beat while he spoke but it was constant. He didn't lie

Or he's really good at it~ max said

"Really? After all this time... You chose to speak now?" I asked. Max only whined and stayed silent. I sighed and got out from under the bed.

Blain said I had to leave the infirmary tomorrow. I knew I couldn't stay here for long but i didn't want to go home. I stinked I needed a shower, I needed to shift back my back was aching. But I was too scared to shift back. I knew if he wanted he could make me shift on demand but this form felt safer. I curled up on the bed and closed my eyes.

Tomorrow was yet to come, right now I need some rest.

When I woke up the first thing I saw was my mom and pops hugging and whispering softly to each other. A pain filled whine escaped my lips. Why couldn't I have a mate like that.

As kind as my mom,

As gentle as my dad,

As considerate as blain,

As protective as ben....?

Why?

To lost in my self pity I hadn't noticed my mom and pops coming near me. The second my mom raised her hand to touch my fur I flinched back. She pulled her hand back and pops pulled her close. I whined pops was protecting my ma from me.

"You okay buddy? " he cooed I put my head back on the bed. They were scared of me. I was scaring my parents... I hated it.

Blain came in a few minutes later and told us I could leave. None of them came near me. After the third day since I was here I had stopped growling at them trying to touching me. But i still flinched away from touches, I couldn't help me.

I got of the bed with a whine. My rear end was healed but he hadn't closed the bite mark so that still hurt. Blain had patched me up that day while I passed out but I wouldn't let him near me after that.

I stumbled out of the infirmary

Run~ max said and this time I listened. This time I ran....

I ran.

I didn't know where I was running to till I heard water falls. I ran to the end of our pack territory. I was at the cliff we threw rouges from. It was called rouge cliff -unoriginal I know- and I knew why I ran here. I wanted to end it. I wanted it all to stop.

My parents were scared of me. My friends pitied me.

And my mate hates me; my mate.... He....

I wanted every thing to end.

{Coles POV}

Alpha Alex is at rogue cliff~ my beta danni shouted through our mind link. And hunter gave me full control. It was like he hadn't though about losing our mate and when he realised he could he just pulled back completely.

Don't approach him. Get me tranquilizers ~ I said, shifted and made my way to my mate.

When I finally made my way to the cliff danni was waiting there with the gun. I shifted back.

"Don't fire unless I say so" I ordered

"Alpha your eyes" he said.

"Did you hear me? " I asked irritated

"Yes alpha" he replied

"Good" I said and made my way to my mate who was looking down the water fall.

I saw as his body tensed when he got a wiff of my scent.

"Alex" I called softly my voice was horsy. I heard a broken whimper.

"Alex baby please... " I pleaded taking a step closer. He turned towards me when the leafs under my bare feet crunched and took a step back. One of his hind legs lost its place and he almost fell but pulled him self up.

"Don't do this baby" I begged.

I knew the others where hearing what I've said but I couldn't bring my self to care.

"Shift for me Alex... Let me take you back" I asked I saw as his stance changed and a low growl made its way from his throat. And then he launched at me.

Now~ I mind linked danni and he shot making Alex drop to my feel. With a sigh I kneeled down and picked up my mate and my way back to the pack house.

{Alex's POV}

I was just about to do it when his scent hit me.

Tea and sandalwood

Two things I despised now.

He tried talking to me. Trying to pull me away from the ledge. He made me like this... Its not like he wanted to help.

I growled when I heard him step closer.

"Shift for me Alex... Let me take you back" he asked and I saw red. He wanted to take me back? To use me again? He had no sense of shame. I wanted him dead... I didn't think it through before launching at him. Then next thing I know something hit my side and I fell to the ground my vision blurting... NO!

When I woke up it was very slowly. U regained my hearing first and I heard shuffling and breathing. I must have gone home with my parents. But then the events of last night washed through me.

The cliff.... The alpha.... What he said

"Shift for me Alex... Let me take you back"

A growl ripped from my throat and I opened my eyes to see u wasn't in my room but a room that had been the center of my night mares. I jumped off the bed  still in my wolf form thankfully.

"Alex" called a voice and I turned to see my monster of a mate. I whimpered and dove under the bed.

No no no... I couldn't be here. Not again.

Stop panicking ~max said

"Alex I promise not to hurt you " he said softly but I growled and stayed where I was.

"Alexander" he called and sighed when I growled again.

"Come here please" he asked softly.

"At least don't bloke me out" he begged when I stayed silent. After a while of the silence he got up an left the room. Making sure he was gone I got out form under the bed and sat at the end of the bed. I wanted to leave but I was sure I would run into him or his stupid family if I tried So I just sat there. And before I knew it I dozed off.

When I woke up it was because of the sound of the door opening and closing. I got up and jumped him. He fell on him back wide eyes. Wait his eyes... His once blood red alpha eyes were down the deepest of green.  Emerald green shone with surprise looking up at me. I bared my teeth at him when he raised his hand to touch my head. He gave me a pleading look before softly touching one of my ears. Electricity shot through me and a whine escaped my lips.

"Alexander... Baby please shift for me" he pleaded. I opened my eyes not knowing when I closed them.

What happened to your eyes~ I asked through our mind link taking down the block

Your speaking to me~ he said his eyes going wide. I growled and he sighed

Hunter gave me control~  he said

Oh~ I replied and rested my head on his chest getting comfortable on top of him

Do you trust me?  ~he asked

Honestly, no~ I replied and I saw as pain filled his gorgeous eyes

But im trying ~ I added and his hands moved to the bite mark on my neck I winced.

Can I seal it? ~ he asked

No, not till I trust you... And hunter~ I replied and he nodded

"I'll wait. How ever long it takes for you to trust me... I'll wait" he said and I closed my eyes suddenly to tired to keep them open.
