{Coles POV}

I heard as alex's breathing slowly even out. His heart beat ringing in my ears as be slept peacefully.  His sent. The moon goddess had out done her self on this one. His sent was perfect.

Oranges and mint.

Not two things that people normally think of together but it was divine. The only problem was because of me.... And what I had done, he doesn't trust me enough to shift back. But he did talk to me today which had me in an ecstatic mood. I carefully picked up my furry mate - which let me tell you wasn't easy, he wasn't heavy but since he was sleeping over me i had a hard time picking him up- and carried him to the bed. I gently placed him on it and covered him in the sheets to the best of my abilities.

I stood there and looked at my beautiful white wolf mate. With a sigh I decide to take a shower.  I striped and got in standing in the cold shower. My thoughts started racing seeing him standing at the cliff had me more scared that I had ever been in my life. I needed to protect him. Even from me... Even from hunter.

After finishing up my shower I stood in front of the bed room mirror and stared at my clouded reflection. My heart started racing when my eyes flickered red.

Not yet~ I growled at hunter

He didn't reply he just pushed making my eyes flickered red and back to my natural green. I tried to fight him but after a few minutes of flickering eyes and a terrible migraine hunter was back in control and I was yet again shoved to the back or my mind.

{Alex's POV}

I woke up with a start. The door banging was what woke me up. I turned to the door to see my ma- the alpha at the door in nothing but the towel he had around his waist. But that wasnt what caught my attention. What caught my attention was.... His alpha red eyes. I whimpered and tried getting away buy he grabbed the fur that was around my neck and pulled me back.

"Where do you think your going?" He asked in a cold condescending voice. With a pained whine I tried to make him let go but he pulled harder.

"Your pathetic excuse for a mate. I dont know what I did to make the moon goddess curse me with mate like you but I swear on every thing I hold dear I'll make you pay for it" he went on he pulled harshly on my fur and threw me on the ground.

When I tried to get up he kicked my stomach making me draw in a gasping breath. I whimpered and fell back.

"Stay on the ground where you belong weakling" he ordered and I didn't try to move after that.  He kicked me again.

"You ever... EVER try to get away from me again I'll make you wish you were never born" he added kicked me a few times for good measure and walked out with put even changing.

I layed there on the ground heaving and crying till my vision went dark and I passed out.

I cried for a long time on my spot on the floor. He did it again. Why did I even think he cared. I hated him.

You don't~ max said in an exhausted small voice.

"I want to" I said and got up. Thankfully this time I was not bleeding I saw that his window was opened and jumped out. I went to my parents house jumped through my bed room window and got in bed.

I cried that night more that I ever did in my entire life. It was true my mate was a monster.

{Cole's POV}

The second the door closed behind me I fought. I fought more than I ever did in my life. I pushed hunter out of control and I fell to my knees. Darkness clouded my vision and before I fell into unconsciousness I smile I finally had control.

When I woke up I was in my mothers room. My mother who I hadn't see for a very long time. She moved around the room with a purpose.

"You finally took control" she said I saw that her back was still turned to me

"You knew" I said sitting up

"Of course I did" she replied and turned to me she had a cold look on her face.

"You let me be a crule alpha... You let me hurt my mate... You... You-" I stopped my self and got up and pushed every thing on the table beside her bed to the ground.

"He thinks I'm a monster. He thinks..... " I stopped and punched the mirror of her dresser.

"Your the fucken monster... You and dad and hunter. You killed MY wolf. I didn't want to be alpha. I just wanted a normal life " I shouted at her

"Well you are alpha and you will act like it" she said in the cold tone of hers.

I growled and walked to the door and opened it to leave.

"Oh and put a leash on that mate of yours. Or better yet let hunter do it. He seems to know how to tame that rut" she said and i walked out closing the door firmly behind me.

When I got back to my room and found my mate missing and my window opened. Damn it I must have left it open. I was 2 seconds from running after him when I realised he most defiantly doesn't want to see me.

Im sorry~  I mind linked him and I didn't get a reply. I didn't expect him to reply anyway. I layed back on my bed.

I messed up and I messed up real bad. I needed to give him some time before trying and fixing things. Slow and steady. I sighed and closed my eyes. I needed rest.
