The 'real princess' had a delicate name, Crystal. Veronica liked her a lot in her past life. She usually took Crystal out when she dated Jasper. As a result, she and Jasper grew more familiar with each other.

She looked to be a kind-hearted and innocent girl. Veronica stared at her for a long time before she finally moved her eyes away from Crystal.

Yes, she looked to be. But deep inside her heart, there was evilness. Veronica learned that in her past life.

She then took a glance at the British-style clock hanging on the wall in the living room. It was eleven o'clock now, the time for lunch.

Veronica didn't remember the exact time when she and Jasper went to the haunted house. All she could recall was that it was after they had lunch.

With her head tilted, she searched in her head for the time they had lunch. But still she failed to figure out an answer.

She was so thrilled by Jasper's proposal that she was drowned in happiness. They walked around the amusement park in great joy until they felt hungry. Later, Jasper took her to the restaurant for lunch.

When she was lost in her thoughts, Anna walked towards her. It was her first time to see her daughter cry so sadly just now. She considered herself to be a loving mother. She rubbed Veronica's hair gently before asked with a smile, "Veronica, what happened just now? Why did you cry so sadly? Can you tell me why?"

Veronica felt disgusting. Ever since she accepted the fact that she was reincarnated, she had been sick of her co-called loving parents. When Anna touched her head, Veronica couldn't help feeling like vomiting. Her stomach ached and she felt she was unable to catch her breath. How she wished she could just stand up and curse the woman heartlessly.

But she knew she couldn't. She was now a clown in this family. She needed her parents to provide her money and everything she needed. If she quarreled with Anna, Anna and Lawrence would soon become alert. In that situation, it would only be more difficult for her to take revenge.

Veronica wanted to do something surprising. She wanted to have all of them lose the thing they care for the most, like what she had suffered in her past life.

Taking a deep breath secretly, Veronica raised her head and grinned at Anna. "Nothing, Mother. I was just so surprised knowing that Jasper intended to propose to me."

So suspired that she hurt her hand and dashed outside, crying and laughing?

Obviously, Anna did not believe her words. She wanted to ask closely. But when she saw Veronica's clear eyes, she decided not to inquire anymore. "That's great. I was so worried about you, my dear," Anna exclaimed. "Don't worry about me, Mother. I'm good," replied Veronica.

Lawrence and Anna wanted to keep Veronica and Jasper for lunch before they headed for the amusement park. But Veronica did not want this. She was afraid that Harrison might be caught in the fire. So she declined her parents. She called Jasper who was smiling at Crystal, and then the two walked toward the car and drove away.

Veronica did not know how to drive in her past life. But when she and Harrison were caged in their dirty small room, Harrison told her how to drive when they were free. So she would consider herself to be a driver theoretically.

When they arrived at a crossroad, Veronica saw a busy street filled with snack bars. People came and went with snacks in their hands. They laughed and shared the happiness with their friends while enjoying the snacks. All of them wore a satisfied smile. 'What a beautiful world,' she murmured quietly.

"Hey, Jasper, can you pull over for a while? I want to have some ice cream," she turned to him and asked.

Jasper took a look at her wrapped hand. He shook his head as a smile resting on his face. "I'm afraid you can't have those icy foods for now, Veronica. Your hand is injured."

"Please, just a little bit. Please," she begged in a poor tone as she discreetly curled her lips upward and formed a sneer. Jasper's caring words were like nothing but a knife. Oh, God, he is such a good and qualified boyfriend; but he will betray me when I lose my beautiful face, she thought as the sneer crept on her lips.

Looking at her with his eyebrows knitted, Jasper couldn't help but surrender. Seeing the determination in her eyes, he raised one of his hands and said, "All right, all right. You are my precious princess and you will have everything you want. I'll get you some ice. But only one, okay?" he said, his voice soft.

Veronica nodded in acknowledgment. All this time, she just looked like an obedient child.

Jasper pulled over and grasped his wallet before he unlocked the door and got off. Veronica watched him walk away. He was wearing an expensive suit. His handsome and soft face and his tall figure attracted many women on the street. They couldn't help blushing at the sight of him.

The moment he disappeared into the distance, Veronica jumped into the driver's seat and started the engine. She was being a bit scared because this was her first time to drive in practice. All she knew were some theories Harrison had told her in her past life. At first, she drove slowly. When she got more familiar with driving, she sped up at once. The expensive car flew on the road immediately and rushed towards the amusement park quickly.

It was getting closer to the amusement park now. Veronica's hands which were holding the wheel tightly sweated. She was expectant and afraid to see that man.
