Chloe had been counting her days at the company and waiting for the day to be a formal employee after the three months’ probation!

She opened twitter in the toilet and checked, nothing new happened, her favorite comics were not updated, so she had no choice but to go back to her office. After having snatched a moment of leisure, she went back on her work mode at once.

"Hey hey hey! She is out!" Danielle almost yelled, and the beautiful woman standing next to her turned to look at Chloe who was walking out from the toilet. Chloe went back to her seat, sat up straight, and had her standard smile on, not knowing why they were walking towards her and looked so friendly.

"Knock! Knock!" Chloe knocked the door and took a long breath. She could hear Christopher’s voice.

"Come in."

Chloe took another breath and pushed the door open. She walked over cautiously with the cup of coffee, while Christopher’s eye was on the papers and didn’t see the coming person.

"What took you so long, it’s just a cup of coffee!" she could hear he was obviously not happy with this. A shiver ran through Chloe, she hastened to put the coffee on desk.

"I should have told you before not to put coffee on my desk! Those files are very important!" Christopher said with slight anger in his voice. Chloe picked up the coffee cup with trembling hands and almost spilled the coffee for real this time. She seemed to begin understanding why Lucy had asked her for this favor, because it was really frightening. The atmosphere was just killing you!

"why is it you?" Christopher sensed something was different with the coming person so he raised his head and looked at the girl who once rushed into his elevator.

"Oh, um, Lucy got something at hand so she asked me to send for her... where should I put this?" Chloe felt so stressed and she simply just could not breath, she could feel that her hands were still trembling.

"You could put it on the coffee table over there." Christopher pointed at the table beside the couch. He stood and walked over to sit on the couch, checking on Chloe who was trembling.

Chloe put the coffee before him, turned quickly and was going to leave this place. However, behind her, Christopher spoke again.

"Wait."

Chloe hit the brake and turned to Christopher, lowered her head as if she had done something wrong.

"You don’t have to be so afraid of me." Christopher sipped his coffee, stood up, walked before Chloe, "am I so intimidating?"

Christopher kept coming nearer and Chloe kept shaking her head and walking backwards, till her back hit against the wall. She did not dare to look up at him, only squeezing her hands at her waist.

"Then why do you keep walking backwards..." Christopher picked up Chloe’s chin and watched her eyes dodging and avoiding. She took a quick look at him and turned away at once. Now Christopher leaned over and seemed to be kissing her, when he heard the mindless words.

"I... Mr. Cleveland, you are pretty cute!" Chloe looked into his eyes suddenly, like sincerely, and Christopher felt his heart missed a beat. What is she doing?

"But, I have a boyfriend! See you."

So, she ran away like a rabbit.

Christopher watched the door close and sneered. There was now himself alone again. He touched his lips and the face of Chloe came into his mind, "good, the game just got more interesting."
