Nell anxiously waited at the exit of the south square for five minutes. Then she saw a petite girl who carried two big bags walk out from the train station.

“Rose!”

Nell excitedly waved her hand to Rose and got her attention.

“Sister!”

Rose also saw Nell wave hand to her crazily. She hurriedly carried the packages and walked to Nell.

Nell felt sorry to that, “You don’t have to take so many things. I have everything here. You don’t need to bring all the staffs from home.”

Nell didn’t know why Rose would bring so many things from home.

What’s more, her family was supposed to be poor. Now Rose took to big packages with her. Nell felt that Rose had empty their house here.

Rose walked to Nell and said with some angers, “I told mother that I didn’t need to take so many things. But she insisted. She wanted to show her gratitude to the person who helped us.”

“Mom wants to give these things to the one who help us? So these things aren’t for me?” At this moment Nell knew that what Rose brought wasn’t for her but for the funder.”

“Yes, yes.”

Rose nodded. Then she opened the package and showed it to Nell. “Peanut, pumpkin, rice… Mother even wanted to but a chicken.”

“What is the matter with mother? I don’t think that people who live in city would have interest for these things.” Nell murmured. She didn’t like what her mother asked Rose to bring.

“Indeed, I told mother the same. But she wouldn’t listen. So I have no way. I can’t throw all the things in front of mother.”

Nell took a deep breath and said, “It doesn’t matter. I can use these things. It would be enough for a one week meals. Let’s go home first.”

“Alright.”

Rose happily followed behind Nell. She asked Nell to carry half package for her. They walked to the taxi stop.

While in the car, Nell curiously looked at Rose and asked, “Why you don’t want to stay at home and come to see me? Also darling, how did you convince mother? I feel that in the past time, she wouldn’t agree.”

Talking about this, Rose was very proud, “Mom didn’t want me to go out. But I used both hard and soft tactics to persuade her. Probably she found that I was noisy at home. So she just let me out.”

“How did you torture mother at home? How would you make her feel sick about you?”

Hearing what Rose said, Nell laughed and asked.

In Nell’s eyes, her mother was the person who cared about anything. So when Rose told her that her mother got sick of her, it was exceeding her expectations.

Rose said aggrievedly, “I didn’t mean to do that. But in some ways, I can’t always follow mother’s idea. I also have my own thoughts. I can’t think just the same as mother.”

Nell nodded. She couldn’t agree anymore.

Before, when Nell was still at home, mother would ask her to do many things. If she failed to do it, what waiting for Nell, was not just scolding or punching, sometimes she might be punished not to eat for days.

Nell was done with such treating.

While thinking of this, Nell felt that woman must be independent.

Now she at least had her own life her own job. She wouldn’t be restrained by others anymore. At least she could provide herself with basic life condition.

Nell and Rose chatted happily. They were fancying about the great future life.

While Nell just opened the door of her dormitory. Rose screamed surprisingly when she saw it.

“What is the matter? Why would you make such sound? What have you seen?” Nell confusingly looked back at Rose. She didn’t know why Rose would scream for such ordinary dormitory.

While Rose just excitedly ran into the dormitory. She walked around and said happily, “Your dormitory was decorated in the European style. Oh my god… It is just so great. Do you live alone here?”

Nell didn’t want to tell Rose that she lived alone here.

If she said so, then she didn’t have the reason to ask Rose come back home to stay with mother.

Thinking for a while, Nell said, “No I don’t. I have a roommate. But now she is on a business trip. So this is the reason why I allow you to come. Otherwise how can you live with me?”

“Even if she comes back, I can still stay here. I don’t have to sleep on her bed.”

Rose naively looked at Nell and said this. It made Nell felt anxious.

Nell didn’t know whether Rose were fool or she just pretended to be one.

If this room was indeed for two people to live, it would just be small. Now Rose came, how could three people live in such a small room?

Though Nell didn’t want to admit it, she still felt that it was Rose’s trick. She was desperate to stay instead of going back home.
