Sully immediately walked toward them when she heard Hailey question Philip’s identity.

“Oh, actually he is my cousin. I’m sorry. I didn’t introduce him to everyone earlier,” she said to defend him. “His parents were gone. And he is my cousin, after all. So I’ve been financially supporting him to go to school all the time. He had been preparing for the college entrance examination hard. We all know that it was not easy. So I brought him here tonight to relax himself a bit.”

There was a hint of sadness on her face when she told that story. Tears began to well up in her eyes.

There was nothing but innocence in her bright and clear eyes.

Philip was obsessed when he stared at her. She looked like a goddess, so beautiful and elegant.

“Oh, no. That’s not a problem. I know you did not mean it.” He replied before he raised his head and drained the cup.

Sully, who had originally intended to make a fuss, had to stop her plan seeing Philip and Hailey deal with the mess peacefully.

The throng believed that Hailey did not mean it either. Her eyes were so pure and clear. There was no way she was such a sophisticated woman.

Philip looked at Hailey for a long time before he left with a frustrated look. Sully also retreated her resentful eyes from Hailey, turned around, and left the hall.

“Linda, are you sure that Chihuahua would follow here?” Sully asked with a low voice.

“Yes, I’m sure. I fed it some kind of drop. It will follow the smell and come here. I’ve already put another drop on Hailey’s dress.”

“Good job. She is afraid of dogs, even if the tiny Chihuahua. Humph! Even if that dog doesn’t tear her dress, it will bark and scare her to death! That is not bad either!” Sully exclaimed in excitement.

“Here it is!” Linda suddenly reminded.

Looking at the Chihuahua which looked like rather fierce, both Linda and Sully swallowed in the darkness. They held their breath as hard as they could so that the dog would not notice them.

In the dim light, the Chihuahua’s mouth opened, its tongue hanging out. It walked quickly and panted. The air in the garden was filled with tension. It was a very stressful atmosphere.

When it approached the stone bench, it sensed the smell of human beings. Immediately, its red eyes became dangerous and ferocious in the darkness.

The dog, Mark, studied Hailey’s face for a while before it finally recognized her. It then loosened its claws and began to bark randomly. It was sad while excited.

Before Hailey could release what happened, it dashed into her arms and rubbed its head against her.

Hailey was once again pulled down by it. She now knew that her dog recognized her. They hugged and rolled on the ground happily.

Sully and Linda hiding behind the trees did not know what happened at all. All they saw was that Hailey and the dog were rolling on the ground.

They were thrilled to see this.

Hailey would be trapped in a really awkward situation. The dress she wore was so fragile that it would be torn by the dog!

Some people would come here soon. At that time, her dress would be torn badly by the dog! That was the wonderful time Sully was waiting for.

Sully and Linda, who had been originally excited, became too scared to move at the sight of the Chihuahua.

“Ahhh….”

A few seconds later, a woman’s scream was heard from the backyard garden.

Hailey raised one of her eyebrows. She casually broke off a wintersweet and rubbed it on her hand.

When a group of people came here flashlights in their hands, she collected herself and deliberately collapsed on the ground.

She became more excited when she secretly noticed that there were some respectful seniors of the Zhang Family.
