There was a good smell emitting from her silk hair band. Her body belonging to a young girl was fair and soft. She was whispering her feelings for him, heartbroken and desperate. Everyone would not have the heart to refuse her.

Jasper let out a sigh. He hugged her and wiped off her tears with his hand gently. "Crystal, you are a good girl. But I love Veronica. I'm sorry," he said. Then he pulled himself away from her, turned around, and entered his room. Right before he completed stepped into his room, he secretly took a glance at the door of Veronica's room from the corner of his eye. As a matter of fact, he had noticed it from the beginning. That was why he refused Crystal so decisively.

Crystal stood there, lost in her thought. Her black long hair and the white dress made her look so innocent and fragile. However, there were hatred, anger, unwillingness in her eyes, which betrayed her as a pure girl.

She was now looking like a ferocious evil who came back from hell to take revenge.

Veronica, on the other hand, took back her phone secretly and then closed the door. Watching the five-minute video, she could not help sneering,

Oh, Jasper, you may have refused her the first time. But what if there's the second, third time? Let' s just wait and see. You will finally accept her someday, and I promise I'll record everything.

It was Saturday the next day.

Veronica had planned to see Harrison this weekend. But thanks to Jasper's staying last night, Veronica found an opportunity to speed up her revenge plan. So she decided to not to see Harrison.

Early in the morning, Veronica sent a message to Harrison to inform him of everything. After she was done, Anna walked into her bedroom and began to help her dress up.

Wearing a mysterious smile, Anna seemed to be eager to announce something. "Veronica, I saw a dress yesterday and bought it for you. It's very beautiful and suits you well. I know you have a date with Jasper. You can wear this dress."

Anna seemed to take it for granted that Veronica would never refuse her arrangement. She clapped her hands and soon, four maids came in with a beautiful pink evening dress and put it carefully on Veronica's bed.

Oh, yes. An evening dress. It had exaggerated color and decoration, corner rounded, thick material, style ornate. White laces were sewed against the ends of the dress. There were many small pink diamonds on the laces.

Such a beautiful and delicate dress. The one who sold it probably would not dare to put it in the show case?

It was not only pretty, but also expensive. The diamonds on the dress would drive ordinary people to make a crime and steal it.

Veronica reached out and stroked it gently. It was silky and smooth. It must have cost Anna a lot. An evil smile spread on her lips. She tilted her head and said to Anna, "Mother, I'm going to change my clothes now. Please, stay out for a while."

Anna covered her mouth with her hand and smiled. "Oh, sure. Okay. I'm leaving right now."

Everyone left the room, leaving Veronica alone. She sat beside the dress and touched its every corner. Holding the dress with her hands, she tore it apart forcefully. In an instant, the expensive evening dress was torn into two pieces.

Expressionless, Veronica grasped the dress with each piece in one hand. Her hands trembled with anger.

Compared with Jasper, she hated Anna more. She was her mother, who raised her up. However, she abandoned her when her face was destroyed without any hesitation! Was she even a human being? Even beast would rarely do such thing to its child.

She was such a heartless woman. But still, she always wore her fake smile. She cared for her, prepared dresses for her. But it was all because Veronica would marry Jasper and thus the Rou family would benefit from their marriage! How disgusting she was!

Taking a deep breath, Veronica stood up. She tidied her hair gracefully, put on her smiling face and then pulled the door open.

Anna was surprised and curious upon seeing that her daughter did not change her clothes. "Why didn't you put on the dress?" she asked.

Veronica wore a seemingly awkward face and then turned her head around. "It's too tight and burst at the seams," she replied in a poor tone.

"No way!" Anna screamed in shock and disbelief. It was a customized dress. It had cost her thirty million! Veronica stared at her with shocked and strange eyes. Anna immediately pretended to cough a bit. Soon, she came to her senses and became the gentle, loving mother like always. "Veronica, it's not likely to happen. I mean I have someone customized that dress by your measurements. How could it be tight for you?

She was so worried that she entered the room to check the dress before Veronica could make a reply. Seeing the broken dress on the bed, she put one of her hands against her forehead and staggered.

Veronica stood behind her, gazing at her coldly with a sneer.

Did she say that she bought it for her earlier? But why was she claiming that the dress was customized? What a contradictory! 'Why didn't I find her stupid lie in my past life?' Veronica asked herself in her heart.

Anna was such a weird mother. She did not love her daughter with her heart at all. However, she would still be willing to spend so much money to customize such an expensive dress for her. When the dress was broken, why was she looking so desperate?

Wasn't this dress prepared for Veronica?
