Those words seemed like a spell that cured her immediately. She felt like she was back to the living world again. Yes, he just talked to her! He was real and he was alive!

Hailey was unable to control herself anymore. There were complex feelings surging in her heart. She was excited, shocked, regretful, and sad. Edward, on the other hand, resisted the urge to poke her red eyes. He looked at his bodyguard and signaled him to stop Maggie and Jerry who were trying to leave.

“What about them? How do you want to deal with them?” he asked Hailey.

Hailey took a look at Maggie whose mouth was covered by her brother. She could see there was still hatred in Maggie’s eyes.
