Adalwolf opened the medicine box and put it aside, he dug some from it with his fingers and went directly to the horrible-looking private part between her thighs. It stopped oozing blood now, the coagulated was wiped off with warm water too, but the torn wounds inside were still there. The unguent would not work if it did not touch the wounds.

So Adalwolf held his breath and intended to put the medicine in and smeared.

But just when he touched the outside, the unconscious patient jerked her beautiful tender legs and moaned in such pain, "It hurts... help... Risa, help me... don’t kill me... no... stop it... it hurts..."

Adalwolf’s hands became stiff suddenly, he lifted his chin to see her, and found her calm face stained with tears eyes still closed.

    She was still asleep.

An unnameable anger grew and stuck in his chest; he rose to his feet sullenly, thundered to the handmaid standing by with her head down, "you do it!"

Every maid in the palace knew his king’s gloomy, cranky and cruel disposition, and understood that he was not the best one to serve. Every second of serving round him was possibly the last second of their life.

At the moment the maid shuddered with fear of his howling, but she dared not to slow down. Hurriedly she went beside the bed, cleanse her hands in a basin, dried them and went for the unguent.

Adalwolf was already standing several steps away from the bed, he’d wiped off the unguent from his hand, and turn away from the bed.

But his ear became more acute to sounds than they normally did.

Aster took an unstable breath, so he turned abruptly and swept the maid away with his wide sleeve from the bedside. She rolled fast and hit into to the screen not far from the bed, she vomited some blood because of the hard blow but kept silent; she pulled herself up and stood where she was and prepared herself for punishment.

The other maids felt sorry yet happier for her, because she was not dead.

"What do I keep you for? Can’t do anything! Now get out you all!" Adalwolf yelled at them and they all stumbled one on anther and rushed out of the bedroom.

Adalwolf sat back to the bedside, dug some unguent again withe one finger, and went in as he did before.

Only this time, he was so much more careful that he himself did not realize it. She didn’t make any uncomfortable reaction this time until he’d finished, and he only found sweats on his forehead afterwards. Then he swept that medicine box off the table with one hand.

    "Bloody woman!"

He clenched his teeth and cursed it, and turned to leave.

Now Aster stopped feeling as if she was by fire, instead, a cool yet warm feeling took her over and she felt relieved.

Then gradually she started to regain her consciousness.

The moment when she fully came to herself, she opened her eyes abruptly, and found herself in a magnificent palace. She wondered what were the beams and walls were made, and what they were so shiny.

They were good to look at...

    No!

This is not that cave! Where is this place?

She screamed subconsciously and pulled to sit herself up, when she felt cold under there! Then she fumbled there with one shaking hand.

    What the hell!

    Where are my under wear?

She’d have felt killing pain there when she tried to move but now, that pain had nearly gone.

She tried move again, and made sure that that unbearable pain had gone, and the remaining could be ignored as long as she avoided sports.

She felt joyful and checked her arms and neck, the bruises were fainted with only marks.

    GREAT!

She saw death in person but she was not taken by him.

Aster collapsed back onto bed and sighed that she must have a tough life, and at the same time cringed at the way the man looked at her, which gave he chill to the core.

"Are you alright, my lady? What’s wrong?"

Two girls on the same outfits rushed in from outside, dressed like those maids in costume dramas. They have the same, normal faces as human girls except for that one had pointy, fairy-like ears and the other had a cow’s horn on her forehead!

"Are you...are you going to eat me?!"

Aster was already freaked out, she clutched the quilt and backed off against the wall as they came near.

Then the girls shook their head shyly and said in a keen voice, "no, my lady, you are mistaken! We’re... servants in the court, and are assigned here for your service, and we’re... vegetarian!"

"Vegetarian! I love vegetarians!" Aster were all moved and all.

And thinking of the other of what they just said, she swallowed at once, "this is... in a palace? You are here to... serve me?" The girls nodded yes.

"My lady, you are in the Delmont Palace. The king has given the order until you are fully recovered."

He is nice and kind now?!

Aster was sceptical if their king was the same one she was thinking of, but the name was familiar, which made it clear that this was the monster wolf king’s den.

    Oh...hell...no...

    What should she do next?

Was he satisfied with her or not?

Was leaving her in the cave in the first place a sign of dissatisfaction and killing her? Why had he brought her back to his luxurious palace? And what was it with the servants?

Aster racked his brains and concluded that he was satisfied that time with her in some way, and he might possibly not want her dead so much for so soon in a while...

    That’s not bad...

    Or hell no!

One more time like that, she might probably dead on his bed right away. No! No! It was harder to sexually satisfy him than to romantically love him. She couldn’t do it anymore, she wanted to live!

Aster’s heart was in her throat at the thought of it.

"My lady, do you care for some food?" the maids exchanged eyes and asked lovingly.

    YES!

    Why not?!

    She was starving!

Aster nodded hard, and felt she could eat a cow.

And she did see a fucking whole cow... not beef... a really cow! Raw meat!

How could she eat it? How?

Aster wanted to cry, and asked the servants if they could cook it, and the servants had no idea.

"My lady, what do you mean by cook it?"

Aster did not know if she should laugh or cry, but her desire for cooked meat now gave her strength.

As a decent human, she surely would like her meat cooked!

Eating raw meat was disrespectful to the cow!

    ***

"You majesty! That lady woke up and is setting fire in the yard!"

    Setting fire?

Adalwolf put back the cool steeled sword he was polishing, lifted his head and frowned at the little monster guard, and opened his lips, "what is she doing?"

You majesty, that lady said she liked her meat cooked, and I was just given a piece..." the green-faced little monster drooled with his eyes wide-open as he was answering, "your majesty, cooked meat is more delicious!"
