Harrison's house was located in a wealthy area in Aron City. It was a remote small villa.
The villa was decorated in a simple way, with black and white appearance. Inside the house, black, white, and grey were the main colors.
They walked inside the house. Harrison made her sit on the couch and then went to another room to search for the medical kit. Veronica looked around the house with curious eyes, her hand wrapped in white gauze. Before long, he went out and approached her. He knelt on the ground and began to treat her wound.
Slowly, he removed the gauze carefully. The wound in her hand was scary and terrible. However, Veronica did not feel much pain.
She had suffered worse injuries and ached much more in her past life than now.
Harrison applied some medicine on the wound. He asked with concerned eyes, "How come you've hurt yourself so badly?"
He had smooth hair and two whirls on the head. He was a stubborn and smart man. Otherwise, he could not have been able to bring his dying company alive.
Staring at the whirls on his head, Veronica smiled. "I cut it. I thought I was dreaming again. So I tried to wake myself up by feeling pain."
When she woke up in the soft bed and saw Anna, she thought she had a nightmare again. There was no sorrow and anxiety yet she knew what her parents and boyfriend would do to her, as suggested by her past life.
Harrison did not make any response. Instead, he wrapped her hand again with new gauze.
Veronica asked again, "What about you? Did you sleep well before you wake up?"
He was done the wrapping. Her hand looked rather ugly with such gauze covered it. Harrison stood up and smiled. "Yes, I did."
He saw through everything. But he was not sure whether Veronica saw through everything or not.

On the other hand, Jasper walked back with a strawberry ice cream in his hand. He had a handsome face. His soft hair made it look even more elegant. He was very happy, his eyes filled with affection and love.
When he arrived at the place where his car was supposed to be parking, his smile disappeared at once when he did not see anything there. The car was gone, and Veronica was inside the car. Trembling with fear, he loosened his hand and the ice cream fell down on the ground.
Veronica did not know how to drive! Being afraid that there might be something terrible happened to her, Jasper ran and searched the area in the surroundings. His hair got wet by the sweat but he did not feel it at all. He kept searching for the woman who was supposed to stay with him all the time.
"Veronica! Where are you? Veronica!"
He shouted out loud while running. Yet, his effort turned to be in vain. He could not find her.
Determined, he hailed a cab and went to Veronica's house. He then explained to Lawrence and Anna about the missing of their daughter with a serious look.
He then kept dialing Veronica's number, over and over again. At first, no one answered. But later, her phone was turned off. What could happen to her? Jasper's heart beat fast as he grew more worried.
He had imagined for many possibilities. Maybe Veronica was kidnapped and the kidnapper would demand a high ransom. If that was the case, he would definitely try his best to raise the money no matter how much the kidnapper claimed as long as Veronica would come back safe.
But what if her missing had nothing to with money?
What if she met some evil, lascivious guys? She was only an innocent and delicate young woman. She knew nothing about sex. What if she was… rapped?
Jasper's heart twitched badly the moment he thought of those terrible possibilities.
Anna, on the other hand, paced back and forth in the living room with an anxious look. "What could have happened to her? How could she and the car just disappear? This is crazy! No, she must stay safe! Call the police! We must call the police right now!"
Her voice grew sharp when she finished her words. Her facial expression looked rather ferocious at she shouted out her last word.
Lawrence was not as worried as his wife. He took the expensive teacup from the table and took a sip. "It's not going to work. She hasn't been missing for twenty-four hours. The police will not take care of the case seriously."
The atmosphere in the Rou house was worried. But here in Harrison's house, it was happy. Veronica and Harrison were enjoying their meal casually. They sat in the dark living room and both of them couldn't see the other clearly. They were now planning to share their plans for revenge.
They didn't turn on the light. The only light recourse was from the moon outside the house. It was dim. Hiding in the darkness, they remained expressionless.
Veronica asked, "So, what's your plan?"
Gazing at her slim figure, Harrison replied in a cold tone, "I know what they want. The company. They can take it from me. But there will be consequences." His voice lowered as he finished his last word.
Veronica let out a chuckled. It was quite clear in the dim and quiet room. She said, "Good to hear that. I will also make them lose the things they value the most step by step, little by little."
Her parents, Anna and Lawrence loved money and fame; the 'real princess', Crystal, loved Jasper; and Jasper loved her, at least for the time being. They were going to lose everything, Veronica cursed in her heart with resentful eyes.
