Alisa did not dwell for too long. Soon after, Allen decided to ask the hotel waiter to send a light meal after 30 minutes. Then he changed his clothes to the bathrobe and went to the bathroom to wash.

The warm water rinsed away the sticky hair gel. The tensed cheek after the makeup sponges was also relaxed because of the warm water flow. Even the extreme exhaustion seemed to dissipate a lot.

Allen gazed at his body in the steaming water vapor. His figure was not tall and strong enough. Alisa urged him to exercise, so he had various abdominal muscles; despite efforts, they appeared overly thin. After the whole body care a few days ago, his sparse body hair became more thin.

"Allen, Allen, look at you, how difficult your life was."

He looked at himself and thought about his life with emotion and self-mockery.

After rushing out of the foam, Allen propped the wall with one hand and put his fingers to the back. He began to clean himself with a sense of shame.

Moments after, the sound of the water in the bathroom stopped. Allen went out of the bathroom softly with a bathrobe. He found a hairdryer in the bathroom, stepped in front of the mirror, and dried his hair.

The hair without the hair gel gradually appeared soft and fluffy in the mirror. His bangs were neatly positioned over his two straight-shaped eyebrows. The sideburns were tidy. And the hair on the back of the head was thin. All these made Allen look like a young and clean man.

Because of hunger, his reaction ability and speed plummeted, and the sound of the mobile phone alarm outside the bathroom had been ringing for more than ten seconds before he reacted.

Allen opened the glass door, and at the same time, the sound of the alarm stopped. A tall man standing near the bathroom door straightened up and looked at Allen while tightening the bathrobe belt.

Even if the young CEO who had yet reached the age of 30 took off his business suit, his eyes on Allen still carried the solemnity of business.

But this was only the first sight. Almost at the same time, the man's facial features softened. He bent his phoenix eye slightly and smiled with the corners of his mouth upward, which reminded Allen of the spring breeze.

    Allen also subconsciously smiled.

But it was just a professional smile that Allen had practiced hundreds of times in front of the mirror. Even Allen felt his stiffness.

"Mr. Kevin." Allen loosened the doorknob and walked a few steps to arrive in front of Kevin. "Hello, I am Allen, I am very sorry for the dinner, I will..."

"Try to compensate". The three words had not yet been mentioned to be interrupted by the man in front of him with a smile: "Allen, I think we do not need such a ... commercialized way to communicate?". The man's bent eyes filled with sincerity.

Allen was at a loss. He did not think that this man called "the commercial giant" by the media would be so approachable, especially after he had missed their first dinner.

Fortunately, the doorbell just rang, breaking Allen’s embarrassment. "I’m sorry Mr. Kevin, it’s my light meal because I had been caught in traffic for too long in the afternoon and didn’t have time to eat dinner."

The reason Alisa had mentioned to him over the phone was a traffic delay caused by a car accident. And to stay in the entertainment circle, it was essential to tell a similar small lie about this. So Allen used it.

Allen did not know if it was an illusion. After what he said, Kevin smiled deeper. He gave a light pat on Allen’s shoulder: " I am going to take a shower. Enjoy your meal."

The man rubbed Allen’s shoulders toward the bathroom. The scent of cedar with the oolong tea filled the nose. It was in summer, but the scent reminded Allen of the winter season when the heavy snow whitened the forests, and in the cottage with the lights in the valley, a pot of oolong tea was scented with warmth.

Allen was awoken by the squeaking sound of closing the bathroom door. He pinched his nose and dispelled the overly imaginative image in his mind. And he went to the bathroom door where the knocking sound had been ringing for a long time.
