Aster got a bit agitated and gave him another slap, "Save your strength for later! I’ll go get my other phone." Before standing up she ruffled the husky’s head affectionately, "you are a good boy. Hold him and don’t let him go, I’ll be back soon."

Then she turned towards the study for her backup phone.

When Aster found her backup phone and rushed back to the living room, fiddling with it, she was freaked out when she raised her head from the phone to speak the robber on the ground. She backed against door and had another breakdown.

"Come on?! Another one? And in Costume? "

Adalwolf crossed his arms and stared at the pale woman who just saw his human form, ignoring her words which he didn’t even understand.

He withheld the thought from wanting to kill her, gnashing, "I’m a wolf, not a dog!"

    "Huh?!"

Aster was not stupid but she was too stunned by the horrors of the breakdown to react right now. She forced herself to calm down, and studied the man before attentively.

She was just five-and-a-half feet tall, so the first thing she noticed was that he had long legs, and was nearly nine feet tall. And his costume! These were no ordinary clothes. Must be costumes for a play! A black robe with wide loose sleeves embroidered with complicated patterns with gold thread; the exquisiteness indicated noble sophistication. Six amber gems were inlaid upon the belt, they must cost a fortune!

She was no expert, but she knew it at first sight that the clothes must be worth of more than everything she owed... No wait! it must be robbed.

Now he was approaching step by step, his tall figure gave an vague air of oppressing, which Aster had never felt; she’d never felt chilling discomfort like this from anyone else when the other person didn’t say or do anything. Who on earth ... is this one?

Aster looked beneath his waist and sighed within her noisy head, this man should be a super model, he has everything a super model has, even more than that! Even in a fine loose costume robe, she could tell that under that robe, there was his fit body with perfect physical proportions.

Why does this perfection of a man appeared in her house?

Aster now was staring at his neck, his Adam’s apple rolling, and getting nearer.

Her whole body tightened because his breath was spread into her face; her back was prickling with fear at this stranger, she pushed at his chest as he stooped, "What do you want? Don’t come any closer!"

She’d put every effort but he did not move at all, and approached even closer; she could feel the heat of his breath.

Aster was frightened and look up at his face suddenly, and she was shocked by his eyes.

She mumbled, like she’d been bewitched, "your eyes, are exactly like my dog’s..." They were as light as amber, which was why she was attracted and swooned at the fist sight of the husky.

The pupils were crystalline amber as well as frosted-like, radiating like glass and implicating noble aloofness. No eyes could ever show such resolute and solitary beauty than those.

She was thinking then, this suddenly appeared husky was definitely one of a kind, so pretty, she was going to keep this eye candy for everyday.

Never could she had imagined that... this man, handsome and fair beyond her description, had eyes exactly the same as her dog?!

Aster was stunned, blinked twice and swiftly drew her attention to his other features; only she found this man was impeccable, his slanted eyebrows revealed his breathtaking air in every way.

However, he looked more and more like his stupid husky dog as she scrutinized, and the moment when the dog went mad and tried to bite her and now converged.

Aster panicked and this very bad feeling arose from within her.

And no wonder the next second her chin was picked up by his two fingers, with strength enough to hurt her.

She heard this man looked at her, cheek to cheek, his amber eyes half lidded and coldness flashed by, "I have told you, I am a wolf!"

"Who...on earth are you? Why...why are you in my apartment?"

"Well...I’m here to take your life."

Suddenly this man put more strength in his fingers, she felt her chin was going to break.

He opened his thin lips, gave an evil and grave smile, "remember how you have offended me from last night until today? You name is Aster right? I’ve changed my mind, leaving you die this way is too easy for you... and that will of yours, to revenge for every single crime, is in me too..."

Is this man out of his mind?

    What is he talking about?!

Her back kept sweating, and she started to condemn this unfortunate day. Does it ever stop?

"Are you rehearsing a play? I’ll help you! What is my role, Gorgeous!"

She could see his vain popped after she uttered those words.

She swallowed hard in fright. Was she doing it wrong or what?

When she was still in her panic of self doubt, the man before let go of her chin. A cold light flashed, and that psycho just disappeared.

And he became her husky! And it spoke to her, with the psychopathic man’s voice, "See for yourself, see clear who I am!"

She stood there still, like thunder-stricken, and saw him turned into a man right before her just like that, and seized her throat again, staring her like he was trying to devour her.

Aster pulled herself together at last, she covered her mouth with his hands and screamed, " Jesus! You are that dog! That... dog monster!"

    ...

Those amber eyes erupted with wrath the moment her screams of shock lowered down.

With chilly sullenness and slight exasperation, he roared at her.

"I AM A WOLF! WOLF! Don’t you dare call me dog again."
