Xu Hang tried to break free from his grip, but failed. Worried that he might end up tearing his clothes in the struggle, he replied, "Miss Gu invited me to come and watch the play."
Duan Yelin squinted his eyes, recalling the incident at the Baihua Opera Troupe last time, feeling slightly displeased. "Why didn't you tell me?"
"You didn't ask either, why did you say it?"
This is one of the things that Duan Yelin dislikes the most about Xu Hang. He never says anything directly, just expects you to guess. Whether you can guess it or not depends on your luck. However, Duan Yelin can't just order Xu Hang to report everything in detail. If he did that, knowing Xu Hang's personality, he would probably report every single step he took and every bite he ate, which would frustrate him to no end.
However, Duan Yelin also had a way to deal with him.
"Not that I don't want you to come, I can take you here. If I'm not here today, you might have to suffer."
"I don't need to get angry for him."
"But I will be angry." Duan Yelin touched Xu Hang's face. "He knows too much. Back then, I didn't shut his mouth properly, so now I have to put in some effort to seal it."
Xu Hang finally looked directly at Duan Yelin and asked, "Do you want to kill him?"
Duan Yelin smiled and said, "Do you see me as someone who kills without hesitation? He's currently working outside of politics in the embassy, so it's not like I can just kill him. Don't worry, I will make sure he keeps his mouth shut."
Xu Hang fell silent, his gaze dropping, making it difficult to discern his intentions.
Duan Yelin noticed a speck of dust on his hair and reached out to brush it off for him. After that, he started to feel a bit restless.
He touched Xu Hang's earlobe and whispered, "However, right now... what I want to seal even more, is your mouth."
Before Xu Hang could react, he lifted her up and gently pressed his lips against hers, kissing her tenderly.
He was much taller than Xu Hang, forcing Xu Hang to look up uncomfortably. His mouth naturally could not close properly, and his saliva, because of the entanglement of their tongues, could not be controlled from swallowing.
Of course, such a result made him unable to resist.
Duan Yelin was deeply fascinated by this coercion. His other hand reached out to touch Xu Hang's back head, pressing even tighter. He enjoyed the way Xu Hang's tongue recoiled like a startled squirrel, while he, like a famished wolf, was determined to snatch it out and devour it.
Finally, Duan Yelin pressed his lips heavily and used the back of his hand to wipe away the water stains at the corner of Xu Hang's mouth, feeling thoroughly satisfied.
Damn it, if this continues, I won't be able to resist picking someone up and carrying them back.
"Cough... Here's some water. Rinse yourself off, and I'll wait for you in the front hall," Duan Yelin said, and then he left, leaving Xu Hang, whose face was still flushed and not completely dried, standing in place.
Xu Hang looked around and found himself in the dining area for the prepared dishes. Next to the stove was a water barrel. He walked over, looked at his reflection in the water, scooped up a ladle of water, rinsed his mouth three times, and then began to clean the stains on his clothes.
Drying by the stove, I heard the sound of a maid servant wanting to come in from outside.
The two little girls were having an animated conversation, "Hey hey, Dongxing, did you see? Commander Duan is really handsome!"
"Xia Mei, you wouldn't be harboring thoughts of becoming the commander's wife, would you? Wake up!"
"Ptui, ptui, ptui! You little brat, watch me rip your mouth open! Hurry and bring the General's wine flask up! It's the one with the double-ear white porcelain bottle."
Dong Xing entered the dining area, about to retrieve some wine, when she suddenly felt a gust of wind blowing in, chilling her.
I lifted my head and saw her delicate eyebrows furrowed. She complained, "These careless servants! How come they didn't close the windows? The wind has cooled down the wine!"
She angrily closed the window and found the commander's wine jug. With a glance, she noticed the dirty stains on the stove.
She didn't pay too much attention to it, flicked her finger lightly, wiped it with a piece of coarse cloth, and then carried the wine jug out.
