Chapter 12: Tang Jie Quietly Sleeping on Pei Lu's Bed~

Pei Lv's room was dull in color, but it exuded intelligence, truly reflecting the maturity of an adult man. Just like himself, everything in the room had a decor that emitted a sense of restraint, yet also conveyed an aura that discouraged strangers from getting too close.

The young boy slowly climbed onto the big bed in the room and then lay down in it. He slept on the man's bed, covering himself with his blanket and resting his head on his pillow. The pillow still carried the man's scent, a fragrance of shampoo.

Although they were using the same shampoo, Tang Jie could somehow always sense a different feeling from it. The scent on Pei Lu's body was not the same as his own, and he didn't understand the reason behind it.

He turned on the lamp on the bedside table and lay down on the man's bed. Instead of curling up like before, he stretched out his body to make himself more comfortable lying down.

He grabbed hold of the man's blanket and made an even bigger mess of the things on the man's bed, yet he was oblivious to it, and instead, he became even more audacious.

When Pei Lv came back, it was already very late. The lights in the living room were still on, as if someone had left them for him. Pei Lv returned after eating, so he did not go into the kitchen, nor did he notice that things in the kitchen were still the same as before.

Pei Lv put down his briefcase and went upstairs. He thought Tang Jie was already asleep, so he didn't go to disturb him.

He returned to the room, took off his clothes and removed his glasses before heading to the bathroom. The bed was in quite a mess, and the small lamp on the bedside was still on, but he wasn't too surprised. He simply assumed that he had forgotten to turn it off in the morning.

After hurriedly taking a shower, he finally stepped out of the bathroom. He was wearing a loosely tied bathrobe, with water droplets that hadn't been dried off sliding eagerly into his embrace, leaving the observer feeling parched.

Pei Lu did not look closely, feeling his way onto the bed by the dim light in the bathroom. However, as soon as he got on the bed, he realized something was wrong. It seemed like something was coiling around his waist, and before long, the other party's hands and feet were also entangled with him.

Pei Lu's heart sank as he hurriedly turned on the lamp on the bedside. With a closer look, he was even more startled. Tang Jie, this child, somehow ended up on his bed without him realizing when.

"Xiao Jie? Xiao Jie? Wake up, why are you sleeping here with me?" Pei Lv gently tapped Tang Jie's face, and after a while, the other finally reacted.

Slowly opening her eyes, she looked at him groggily and asked, "Pei Lu?"

"Mhm, I'm back. Why are you sleeping in my room?"

But Tang Jie did not reply immediately; instead, he lifted his hand and embraced him, resting his head against his neck, deeply inhaling the scent on his neck. Mmm... it was still that familiar scent of shampoo and shower gel, which made him feel contented.

Pei Lu couldn't help but laugh at his childish appearance of searching for his mother. He raised his hand, wanting to pull him off himself, but no matter how hard he pulled, Tang Jie stuck to him tightly and refused to let go.

Pei Lu helplessly said, "Xiao Jie, let go. How can I go to sleep if you don't let go?"

Tang Jie ignored it and instead tightened his grip. "Pei Lu, where did you go tonight? Why did you hang up my call? I was worried about you."

Tang Jie's words sounded just like that of a child, without any trace of deception. So Pei Lv really believed him and even felt remorseful.

"Sorry, there was something happening at school. We had a last-minute exam arrangement meeting, so I came back late. Hanging up on your call was my mistake, please don't be upset, okay?" Pei Lu's voice was very soft, gently comforting Tang Jie in the night.

Tang Jie tugged at his robe, smelling the scent on it. He didn't know what was happening, but suddenly felt a heat spreading throughout his whole body. Pei Lv's skin was smooth, and it was also fair, just like a peeled chicken egg, smooth and tender.

Tang Jie only felt the blood in his body surging towards his head, even the gaze he had upon Pei Lv contained something more.

Tang Jie really closed his eyes and climbed down from Pei Lu's body, but he didn't lie far away. Instead, he lied down beside Pei Lu, very close, right next to him.
