Shu Boheng actually woke up when he was being pushed into the ward, but his body lacked any strength to move, let alone open his eyes. He knew that someone had been holding his hand all along, and there were people chattering in his ears, saying things he didn't understand.
But the more he ignored it, the more that person became interested. Finally, he became impatient and had no choice but to exert all his strength to move his finger, only then did the sound completely stop.
But not long after, he heard an even more excited voice, "Aheng! Doctor! The doctor woke up!"
Who is Aheng calling for?
Shu Boheng struggled to open his eyes just a crack, his mind momentarily blank and hazy as memories from before unconsciousness flooded back.
"Aheng? Aheng? Can you see me? How do you feel now? Are you still in pain?"
......
"Aheng?" Zhuang Ling held onto his hand and continuously stroked his forehead.
Shu Boheng felt uncomfortable and quickly turned his head, avoiding his hand.
Zhuang Ling's hand stiffened awkwardly in mid-air, and after a moment, he silently withdrew it. "Are you feeling uncomfortable?"
"Cough... With one hand hanging an IV drip, and the other hand held by Zhuang Ling, he struggled to lift the oxygen mask. However, he found it was beyond his strength. Therefore, he attempted to pull his hand out of Zhuang Ling's grip."
Zhuang Ling sensed his intention and tightened his grip to prevent him from escaping. "What do you want? I'll help you."
Shu Boheng felt even more pain in his stomach. Zhuang Ling, what exactly do you want to do?
"Let's go!"
"Aheng? What did you say?"
"Go!"
Zhuang Ling leaned in closer to Shu Boheng's face, straining to hear his faint voice. "I won't leave. This isn't your true confession."
"Go!" Shu Boheng suddenly let out a muffled groan, his whole body curled up like a shrimp, and even his oxygen mask fell off to the side in a violent struggle. The instruments beside the sickbed emitted a piercing scream.
Zhuang Ling was taken aback and quickly reacted by attaching himself to hold him down. He also conveniently adjusted his oxygen mask for him.
"Aheng! Aheng, relax! You'll easily hurt yourself like this. Tell me, does it hurt a lot? Doctor! Doctor!"
Little did he know that he had said something else wrong. Shu Boheng struggled even harder, his entire lips turning pale, which shocked Zhuang Ling to the core.
Just as he was at a loss for what to do, the door of the hospital room was opened, and a group of doctors and nurses carrying medical kits rushed in. They swiftly and methodically began administering emergency treatment to Shu Boheng.
Luckily, although Schubert's illness came on suddenly, it also disappeared quickly. After receiving an injection, he calmed down for the most part.
"Doctor, how is he doing?"
Neurogenic gastritis is most sensitive to emotional fluctuations. If Mr. Zhuang doesn't want to die early, he shouldn't provoke him." This person is the deputy director of the gastroenterology department. He looks refined but is notorious for his short temper. He is also furious with Shu Boheng, who frequently lands himself in the hospital. Therefore, his words are somewhat impatient.
"I understand, doctor," she said.
The doctor was extremely surprised to see him so obedient. After all, in the past, Zhuang Ling would always come to pick a fight with Shu Boheng. And every time, he would come and go in a hurry. It was already considered good if he didn't pass out from anger, let alone taking care of him.
What's happening today? Did the sun rise from the west?
He opened his mouth, wanting to say something else, but then realized there was nothing more to say. So, he squeezed out three words, "That's for the best," and left the ward first.
After everyone left, Zhuang Ling walked to the bedside and looked at Shu Boheng, who had his eyes closed, unsure whether he was sleeping or awake. Zhuang Ling said, "I know you don't want to see me. I'll leave first... Take good care of yourself and don't tire yourself out anymore. I... I will come by every day from now on."
After saying that, he fled without a trace. Right now, he needed some space to sort out his thoughts and understand what exactly he wanted.
Also, in order to avoid further stimulating Schubert
However, what he didn't know was that after he left, Shu Boheng, lying on the sickbed, slowly opened his eyes and gazed deeply towards the direction of the door.
