Du Jun's movements slowed down, his eyes scanning across Zhong Yi's back. The skin remained smooth and firm, but above the coccyx, there was a dark red blood clot that had scraped the skin, emitting faint traces of blood.
Du Jun felt an inexplicable heartache and said, "You're bleeding. Let me wipe it with a piece of paper, wait a moment."
Zhong Yi furrowed his brow, feeling weary in his heart. "Fine."
Zhongyi directly took off the clothes hanging on his neck, revealing his fair-skinned upper body. Not a trace of excess fat could be seen, even on his abdomen, which was flat and faintly showing only his four abdominal muscles.
Du Jun grabbed a tissue and placed a trembling hand on Zhong Yi's back. The sensation was so amazing that it was almost unbearable! Du Jun's Adam's apple bobbed as he furrowed his brow and delicately touched the bleeding spot with his other hand, treating it as if it were a precious treasure.
A tissue absorbed the fresh blood, causing Zhong Yi to furrow his brows in pain.
"Alright, can you stand up? I'll support you. Let's go wash up first," Du Jun said gently.
Zhong Yi tried to move a bit and smiled at Du Jun, saying, "It's alright, I can handle it myself. Thank you."
With that, Zhong Yi stood up and walked towards the bathroom. In truth, his thighs were very sore. After all, the thighs were the most frequently injured part of the body. However, he didn't want to be too close to Du Jun. To be precise, right now, he didn't really want anyone to get too close to him.
Du Jun didn't want to pester Zhong Yi either. He heaved a sigh and rubbed his palms together before heading to bed. All he could think about in his mind was Zhong Yi's pink upper body, and his palms still seemed to be touching Zhong Yi's back, making it difficult for him to fall asleep for a long time.
After freshening up, Zhong Yi hurriedly climbed onto the bed and took off his pants to carefully examine his thighs. Sure enough, there were already quite a few bruises, and there were also a few on his chest. His back was probably swollen as well. Now, the pain was making it difficult for him to stand up straight.
After slowly lying down on the bed, Zhong Yi finally let out a sigh of relief. In truth, he was already in so much pain that even walking caused him to tremble, but he had been enduring it, unwilling to let anyone see him unable to get up after being beaten.
Will it happen again tomorrow? If it happens every day in the future, I might as well change schools. Since the beginning of the school year, I have been very unlucky. Maybe I forgot to burn incense during Chinese New Year and forgot to consult the almanac before leaving the house. That's why I've been attracting trouble from all sorts of ghosts.
All the wounds on his body were covered by his clothes, and no one could see them. Even if he wanted to tell the teacher, he couldn't bear to take off his clothes.
Zhong Yi clenched his teeth tightly and let out a long sigh of relief. After resting for a while, he indeed felt much better. However, his back was a bit sore, and he even lost interest in playing on his phone. But he couldn't fall asleep either.
Lying on the bed with eyes closed all along, listening to the gradually emerging snoring and teeth grinding sounds from all directions, the more I listened, the more annoyed I became.
Waiting for Zhong Yi to take out his phone to check the time, it was already midnight.
He turned over and finally felt a bit drowsy. His ears gradually blocked out the sound of snoring, and he became increasingly sleepy. Eventually, his mind drifted into a dream. However, Zhong Yi still couldn't relax completely. He curled up in bed with visible furrows on his forehead.
The dream was originally peaceful. Zhong Yi was lying on the grass taking a nap when suddenly a person approached. However, all Zhong Yi could see was that the person was dressed in black, and he couldn't make out their face. As Zhong Yi tried to carefully observe, the black figure suddenly transformed into a black lion and pounced on him. Startled, Zhong Yi immediately fled, while under the black lion's dark, icy-cold gaze.
Crossing through the grass, Zhong Yi wiped off the cold sweat and turned to look at the black lion. The black lion had already disappeared, and the lawn returned to a peaceful state, as if nothing had happened.
When he looked up at the sky, he saw only a huge rock pressing down on him, forcing him to hunch over and crawl on the ground.
"...Zhong Yi... Zhong Yi!" Du Jun's voice echoed in Zhong Yi's ears, becoming more and more ethereal. Zhong Yi struggled to open his eyes and looked at the person in front of him, but he couldn't focus or see clearly who it was.
In the dream, he felt as though he was being crushed by huge rocks, struggling to breathe and feeling extremely uncomfortable, to the point where he couldn't even utter a word.
Du Jun looked at Zhong Yi's slightly flushed face and furrowed brows, and finally sensed something amiss. He quickly reached out his hand to touch Zhong Yi's forehead, which was burning hot.
Du Jun didn't dare to delay any longer, and quickly asked several students from his dormitory to carry Zhong Yi on their backs, and hurriedly ran towards the school clinic.
As he walked out of his dorm room, and ran past the doorway of the adjacent dorm room, Jin Shaoze happened to walk out, and immediately saw Zhong Yi lying on top of someone, an idiotic look on his face, with his lips reddish and slightly parted.
Zhao Yuyang jumped out from behind Jin Shaoze, looking startled as he watched Zhong Yiyuan walk away, unsure of what had happened. It wasn't until another student came out of Zhong Yiyuan's dorm room that Zhao Yuyang hurriedly grabbed him, a nervous expression on his face as he asked, "What happened to Zhong Yiyuan?"
Li Yang exclaimed in pain and then said, "I'm feeling sick, seems like I have a fever." He didn't have the courage to mention what happened last night.
Zhao Yuyang furrowed his brow. "How could you have a fever in the middle of summer? Unbelievable!"
Zhao Yuyang didn't even get a chance to ask when Jin Shaoze, with a cold expression on his face, turned and walked away.
Zhao Yuyang gritted his teeth, released Li Yang, and ran towards Jin Shaoze.
"Shaoze! Can't you hear me? Zhong Yi is sick!" Zhao Yuyang anxiously shouted in Jin Shaoze's ear, "I want to go see him! He has a fever! Will he become a fool from the fever? Damn it, what's wrong with Zhong Yi? He can even have a fever in the peak of summer! His body is too weak! Shaoze, accompany me to see him, just for a while!"
Jin Shaoze, with his steady pace, glanced indifferently at Zhao Yuyang and coldly replied, "I don't have time."
