He was intoxicated, supported by someone as he struggled to get up. He didn't know where he was walking or how long it had been. It seemed that he had already distanced himself from the crowd, as his surroundings suddenly became quiet.
He felt a bit hot on his body, so he drowsily wanted to take off his coat.
"Don't move...I'll do it."
A deep and hoarse voice sounded, and he felt familiar with it. He desperately tried to open his eyes to see who was in front of him, but only a blurry figure appeared before his eyes.
A pleasant scent of perfume wafted to his nostrils, prompting him to lean forward eagerly, craving for more.
"...Stardu, don't move."
Immediately after, he felt a refreshing sensation all over his body, but the next moment, he was suddenly surrounded by warm water.
With a splash, as if someone had thrown him into a bathtub, the heat and discomfort on his body were instantly relieved. He let out a contented hum and slowly sank into the water.
Just as he was about to run out of breath, someone pulled him out of the water. A cool and soft sensation spread across his forehead, and before long, it moved to his lips.
Cen Sidu opened his mouth and accepted this chilly intrusion.
However, the chill did not last long and immediately became scorching hot.
Cen Sidu was scalded and felt a bit dazed. He reached out to push it away, attempting to banish this scorching sensation.
Suddenly, his hands were firmly grabbed by the other party, and what happened next, Cen Sidu completely forgot.
The next morning, Cen Sidu opened his eyes and was momentarily dazzled by the glaring sunlight streaming in through the window.
He squinted his eyes and propped up his heavy body to get up.
He felt extremely dizzy, so he stretched out his index finger and pressed on his temple.
After taking a moment to relax, he suddenly remembered what had happened last night.
I am not a heavy drinker myself, and I rarely even drink, so why did I get so drunk that I lost consciousness?
He glanced around the room, taking in the layout and furnishings, and it was clear that he was in Huo Chuan's house.
He quickly threw the covers off and got out of bed, only to discover that his clothes and pants had been replaced by someone. At the same time, he felt a refreshing and clean sensation on his body, as if someone had bathed him.
Cen Sidu was dumbfounded.
This is at the Huo's residence, so other than Huo Chuan, he couldn't think of anyone else who would help him bathe and change his clothes.
Without much time to think, he quickly put on his shoes and rushed out the door, as if escaping.
But after taking only a few steps, he bumped into someone.
The opponent's chest was hard and firm, causing Cen Sidu to stumble backwards. As his body was about to fall, the other person quickly grabbed hold of his waist.
"Are you okay?"
Cen Sidu quickly looked up upon hearing the voice, "Huochuan?"
"It's me." Seeing his flustered appearance, Huo Chuan found it amusing. "Why are you so panicky? Looking for me?"
"I... "Cen Sidu's face blushed as he stammered, "I didn't... didn't look for you. I'm going back... back first."
"Had breakfast before you go?" Huo Chuan blocked his way, not wanting him to leave easily.
Cen Sidu dared not even look at him. Just by smelling the scent belonging to Huo Chuan, his face turned red from his neck. "No, I'm not eating anymore. I still have work to do."
"Are you angry with me?"
"Angry?" Cen Sidu didn't understand why he asked this, "I'm not."
Huo Chuan attempted to jog his memory and also wanted to probe if he still remembered what had happened last night. "I thought it was because I made you drink all night yesterday that you were mad at me."
Cen Sidu pursed his lips, feeling convinced that besides drinking last night, he must have done something else.
He checked to see if there was anywhere uncomfortable on his body, but besides the headache, everything else was fine.
"Last night... besides drinking, did I do anything else?" Sensidu was afraid that he had made a fool of himself while drinking. If he really did something extraordinary, wouldn't he have lost all face last night?
"Last night?" Huo Chuan pretended to be in deep thought, his possessive gaze fixed on Cen Sidu's rosy lips. After a fleeting hint of amusement flashed in his eyes, he shook his head. "It's nothing. Even if you got drunk, you didn't act crazy."
Cen Si Du did not question his answer and secretly breathed a sigh of relief. "That's good."
As soon as the voice fell, in just a moment, he realized that he had forgotten a more serious problem.
Although the answer he received was probably the same as his own speculation, he still wanted to hear an answer from Huo Chuan himself. So, he cautiously asked, "You helped me change into these clothes...?"
"Do you believe me if I say you changed it yourself?"
With a "squeak" sound, it seemed like something exploded in Cen Si Du's head.
He opened his mouth in astonishment, and looked up at Huo Chuan, hoping to find a hint of seriousness on his face to prove that what he said was true.
However, whether it was the corners of his mouth or his eyes, they were all conveying a smile to Censi Du.
Cen Sidu only regretted that he couldn't find a crack right now, otherwise he would have squeezed himself in.
He wanted to run as fast as his legs could carry him, wanting to leave this place immediately.
"Stodo, your reaction would make me think that you're shy because you like me?"
"No, it's not." Cen Saidu denied resolutely, without any hesitation.
Huo Chuan nodded and said, "Alright, can we go downstairs now and have breakfast together?"
Cen Sidu did not agree, but instead asked him, "What time is it now?"
Huo Chuan raised his hand to check the time and said, "It's half past eight."
"8:30?" Cen Sidu was taken aback, his expression growing more panicked. He hurriedly rushed downstairs, saying, "I won't eat anymore, I still have something to do."
After running downstairs, he immediately noticed the takeout box by the dining table and grabbed it without saying a word, rushing out.
After placing the takeout box on his electric scooter, he suddenly remembered that there were still things that needed to be recycled. However, the weight of the takeout box seemed off. He opened the box and found that the items that needed to be recycled had already been neatly placed inside.
Since it has already been taken care of, Cen Sidu did not want to waste any time and planned to get on the car and leave.
Suddenly, at this moment, an aunt wearing an apron walked out from the house.
Cen Sidu recalled it for a moment. That aunt who led them in last night.
Seeing her come out holding a bag in her hand, Cen Sidu paused for a moment, feeling that she must be looking for him.
"Mr. Cen," Aunt Wang noticed that he hadn't left yet, so she hurriedly called out, "You forgot to take your clothes and phone."
"Oh, right!" Cen Sidu berated himself for being too flustered earlier and almost forgetting about these things. He quickly approached and took them over, expressing his gratitude.
After returning the items to the store, Cen Sidu quickly rode his bike to the sanatorium.
He would visit his grandmother at the sanatorium almost every day, but he didn't have time today to bring the pastries he made at home.
When Cen Sidu arrived at the ward, he found his grandmother sitting by the window, basking in the sun.
Cen Si Du's movements were gentle as he quietly approached her side and called out, "Grandma."
The elderly person hesitated for a moment upon hearing the noise, feeling somewhat familiar with the sound. Slowly, they turned around and when they saw it was Cen Sidu, a smile appeared on their wrinkled face.
