After completing the radiation therapy, Ou Yue felt much more comfortable in her body. She felt light all over and decided to go out.
The weather today is exceptionally pleasant. The warm winter sunshine shines on the body, making it feel warm and cozy. The snow that fell last night has melted early and left no trace behind.
He didn't want to be bothered by those guys, so he left the royal palace and casually found a restaurant in the city to have a meal. Then, he wandered through the streets and ran to the huge iron bridge that spanned the city river, watching people of various types coming and going. It was truly a leisurely afternoon.
But happy times are always fleeting. Unconsciously, the sun sank in the west, and the sky once again turned dark. Ou Yue let out a sigh and said, "It's time to go to the bar street."
Today, as usual, Eu Yue arrived at the pub a bit earlier. She ordered a hot milk tea and went straight to the corner booth to sit down.
Steam rose from the white mug, and the scent of milk spread in the air. He took off his leather gloves and held the thermos cup with both hands to warm himself.
It didn't snow today. Ou Yue flipped open the communication device and saw Randall's name glowing. She wondered what he was up to now... Ou Yue stared at the three words on the screen, lost in deep thought...
At 8:58 PM, Ou Yue put on her leather gloves.
PM 21:00, a silver-haired man appeared before me.
This person is truly a weirdo. They come to this pub every day, right on time, and they have an inexplicable obsession with this particular corner.
Originally, I was still speculating whether Kailuo had any secret dealings here, and whether the boss was a secret spy for another king or something. But after observing for a whole day yesterday, nothing happened...
Ouyue had great confidence in his observational skills. He believed that this person genuinely just enjoyed doing this.
He silently complained in his heart, giving the silver-haired man sitting in front of him a nickname - Silver Madman.
"Yin... Mr. Kylo did come after all," almost unconsciously, the perfectly crafted smile on Ouyue's face twitched for a moment.
"Of course, the scenery here is beautiful," Kailuo said, not noticing Ouyue's expression as he looked out the window. Once he had seen enough, he would move on to another city to continue wandering.
Before, he used to stay in one place without any freedom, and he had grown tired of it. Finally, he was able to leave there, so of course he wanted to come and see every beautiful corner of this vast world.
"Little Assassin, what is your motive for getting close to me? Speak up." Before Ou Yue could find a topic to continue the awkward chat, Kayo spoke in a casual tone.
He was about to head to the next city; tired of a settled life, he fell in love with drifting.
Ou Yue only paused for a moment before quickly snapping back to reality. She felt slightly annoyed at her poor acting skills, realizing that she had been so easily discovered. Her first attempt at using diversion tactics in life had thus quickly ended in failure.
"Alright, you should be able to tell that I can't beat you," Ou Yue smiled and said. Otherwise, this man wouldn't have the audacity to sit in front of him the next day as if nothing had happened. In his heart, he didn't agree with this Alpha's arrogance. "In fact, my boss wants to meet you."
"Oh." Kailuo wasn't very interested in finding out who his boss was, nor was he ready to go to the appointment.
In fact, he did not really care about the weak and delicate Asian youth in front of him, even though he had known since their first encounter yesterday that this young man was extraordinary.
His fair hands, placed on the marble table, were covered in small scars. Hidden within his seemingly gentle eyes was a certain gloomy emotion. When sitting beside him, he could maintain complete stillness for a long time, not appearing to be lost in thought or admiring the scenery, but rather resembling a... well-trained assassin.
However, so what? Kailuo has always been proud of his swordsmanship, and moreover, in his eyes, Ouyue is just an ordinary Beta assassin.
If he were strong enough, he could have taken the initiative and launched a direct sneak attack on him from the very beginning. However, he did not do so and now finds himself in a passive position. From this, it can be deduced that he actually lacks confidence in being able to defeat him, right?
