Wen Jingcheng looked somewhat discontent when he found out that he couldn't ride the roller coaster or the pirate ship that he wanted to go on. He sat on the carousel and pouted softly.

Yan Muqi noticed that his delicate wife looked dissatisfied. Out of the corner of her eye, she caught sight of a small candy figurine vendor nearby, and decided to give Wen Jingcheng a surprise before leaving the carousel.

Wen Jingcheng got off the carousel and didn't see Yan Muqi waiting outside. His whole face darkened.

During pregnancy, emotions tend to fluctuate greatly. Just a second ago, Wen Jingcheng had a sunny smile on his face before coming to the amusement park, but now he has turned into someone who seems unapproachable.

Someone patted Wen Jingcheng from behind, making him impatiently turn around. Just as he was about to say something, he saw Yan Muqi standing in front of him, holding a small candy figurine that resembled Sun Wukong. All the words Wen Jingcheng wanted to say were choked back.

"How is it? You like this one, don't you?" The two of them sat on a bench in the rest area. Yan Muqi looked at someone next to him who clearly seemed to be in a much better mood.

"I'm already 24 years old, why are you still buying such childish candy dolls~" said Wen Jingcheng, as he happily bit into the candy doll, pretending that he didn't really like it in front of Yan Muqi.

Almost all my childhood wishes have come true on this day. The person I like is accompanying me at the amusement park. Wen Jingcheng even entertained the thought that Yan Muqi might also have feelings for him.

Maybe, he likes me a little bit and cares about me a little bit.

The two of them finally rode the Ferris wheel together. Yan Muqi turned his head and said to Wen Jingcheng, who had been looking out the window without coming back to his senses.

"People say that kissing at the highest point of the Ferris wheel will bring good luck."

Wen Jingcheng knew that even in England there was such a saying. Legend has it that when two people kiss at the very top of a Ferris wheel, they will always be together, never to be separated.

Wen Jingcheng turned his head to look at Yan Muqi, whose eyes were pitch-black. The deep affection in his eyes made Wen Jingcheng think that he would be kissed. Wen Jingcheng almost nervously closed his eyes, but there was no anticipated soft sensation on his lips.

Yan Muqi only tapped his forehead and said with a laugh, "What? Do you really believe it?"

Wen Jingcheng's face turned red with embarrassment as he opened his eyes in disappointment and continued to gaze out the window.

    "Do you believe it?"

Yan Muqi was momentarily taken aback, and then looked past Wen Jingcheng's head towards the distant city.

Does he believe it? Of course, he does. But the person he wants to kiss is not here, so this kind of rumor has lost its meaning.

Wen Jingcheng's mood noticeably improved as he got off the Ferris wheel. He looked up at the not-so-big sun, and his eyes curved into a crescent shape as he smiled.

"I think I've been able to write some good scenes recently, Muqi, thank you..."

If Yan Muqi were to turn his head and take a glance at this moment, he would see the gentle sunlight shining on the face of his lovely wife.

Wen Jingcheng's skin was fair and almost translucent in the sunlight, to the point where one could even see tiny strands of fuzz. His eyes were slightly curved, and the long, curled lashes cast a shadow on his nose.

That was such a clean and pure person. Perhaps he would have fallen in love with such a genuine Wen Jingcheng, but Yan Muqi didn't. His gaze was completely drawn by the person in front of him.

Wen Jingcheng didn't get a response from Yan Muqi. He turned his head to look at him, and then followed his line of sight, feeling slightly startled.

In front of him, the person held the cotton candy that Yan Muqi had given him before, and stood there smiling at them. The dimple at the corner of his mouth faintly appeared, as Mu Chu slightly turned his head and gave Yan Muqi a big smile.

Yan Muqi felt as if his heart had skipped a beat. He had been longing for this smile for three years.

Yan Muqi wanted to pull him into his arms, embracing him with all his strength, and merge him into the depths of his soul, never to be separated again.
