Gu Chencha's right eye was still a bit blurry. When he accidentally turned into the school clinic, he was bumped out by someone coming out from the inside with a shoulder.
"Damn it!" Gu Chen gritted his teeth as he had just refrained from shouting and losing his temper at Jiang Nu. However, now that he was bumped by this burly man, his buttocks were stinging with pain, and his anger surged up instantly.
"You've got no common sense!" he carefully covered his head and cursed.
The man, backlit, looked at Chen Cha, who was wearing a basketball uniform from head to toe. His tall and imposing figure blocked the light shining on top of Gu Chen Cha's head. Holding a basketball, he crouched down and said, "I'm sorry, did I hurt you, classmate?"
With a broadcast accent, sounding somewhat affected, Gu Chencha lifted his eyes and glanced at a bald-headed boy who had a very friendly expression on his face.
Gu Chencha slapped away the hand that was reaching out to touch his forehead and said, "Don't bother, bro."
The boy brazenly sized him up with a few glances and then smiled, saying, "You're a freshman too, aren't you? I'm Chu Wentian from the Broadcasting Department."
Gu Chencha retorted irritably, "Not interested, can't remember."
Chu Wentian wasn't angry at all. Without waiting for Gu Chencha to react, he inserted both hands under his armpits and lifted him up from the ground, as if he were carrying a child. Gu Chencha's face turned completely green, glaring at him with an expression of anger, as if he wanted to devour him.
Chu Wentian still smiled as he pulled him into the infirmary without explaining, saying, "The on-duty doctor went to eat. I just got a cut while playing basketball and came to borrow some alcohol. Let me quickly take care of you first."
Gu Chencha really didn't intend to trouble him. To be honest, he was annoyed by a man who took his time, but this man's strength was so great that it didn't seem human. When he grabbed Gu Chencha's arms and pulled him closer, Gu Chencha felt that even if he resisted, his arms could snap. But if he went along with it, the man's movements surprisingly felt gentle.
He sat Gu Chencha down on a chair, swiftly reached for a bottle of alcohol from the cabinet, tore open a layer of plastic bag and pulled out a wad of cotton. He unreservedly poured several mouthfuls of alcohol into the trash can with a "dudu" sound. Then, gripping the saturated cotton ball, he walked back to Gu Chencha's side, placing his hand on his shoulder and bowing his head to wipe him off.
Gu Chencha originally had his eyes down, not wanting to pay any attention to him. But now, the pain from his wound made him grit his teeth, and he angrily looked towards that person. Only then did he realize that the person had already been standing in front of him, not sure when he had arrived. In his heart, he silently complained that this person's eyelashes were curled up to his eyebrows. At a glance, the person had an extremely robust body, but on top of it was an innocent baby face. Those round, shiny eyes blinked continuously, while his fan-like eyelashes flickered with sweat droplets. Without thinking, Gu Chencha reached out and touched his face, comparing his eyes, nose, and lips to Jiang Nu's—his cool, thin lips, narrow eyes with a dark but radiant glow. There was a face before his eyes, but the impression of this face in his eyes was not as deep as someone who was currently not by his side.
Chu Wentian was well-known in his class for blushing easily. He would often have girls teasing and playing with him for fun. Seeing him blushing, his whole body feeling hot, she quickly wiped her hands clean and retrieved a piece of gauze from somewhere. Without hesitation, she pressed it against him and asked, like trying to defuse the situation, "How did you get hurt?"
"Ge Chencha was still full of anger, saying, 'The wrestling was really intense.'"
The paragraph translates to: "The wound is not dirty, huh? It must have been caused by something being thrown at you. If it's glass, we'll have to take a closer look when the doctor arrives." Chu Wentian stood up and kindly reminded.
"Thank you, Aunt Chen," Gu Chencha said as she jumped off the chair and headed outside, covering herself with a veil.
