Xiang Nan was huddled among a group of people, including Liang Chen's classmates. However, the atmosphere of the conversation didn't seem particularly cheerful, as everyone remained stiff and straight.
"Teacher Shi, let's talk another time," Liang Chen said, speaking faster than before and then quickly left after uttering these words.
With a sudden motion, Shiyi pushed open the door. "Huh?"
He was still somewhat puzzled, but when he saw the person inside, he suddenly realized. He had seen Xiang Nan's photos on the campus forum and was almost certain not to be mistaken. Suddenly, it became clear to him.
Shi Yi Xing turned around and chased after him, grabbing Liang Chen's arm and saying, "Let's go somewhere else."
"Teacher Shi, is this a necessary discussion? It's almost the end of the eighth period, shouldn't you be off duty as well?"
Liang Chen's heart was filled with irritability, and it escalated into uncontrollable anger when he saw Xiang Nan's face. "You brat, why are you everywhere? Such bad luck!"
He now only has one thing on his mind - to escape.
"Finishing the task early leads to an easygoing time," Shi Yixing said firmly, making it clear that refusal was not an option. He added, "I don't have any classes tonight, so if you do, I can request a leave for you. Once we finish the discussion, I'll let you go and won't bother you any longer."
Liang Chen gasped for breath in anger, his eyes staring at Liang Chen without knowing how to refute him in the end.
Like this, Shi Yixing took Liang Chen to the parking lot. Since it was inconvenient on campus, they decided to talk outside. Without saying a word, Liang Chen snatched the keys from his hand and climbed into the driver's seat when they got in the car.
"I'll drive the car."
"Do you have a driver's license?"
"No," Liang Chen answered confidently. "But I am definitely better skilled than you."
"Then you should go down, it wouldn't be good if you got caught by the traffic police."
"Fine, you can go ahead. Teacher Shi, please go home by yourself. I'll go to the night class." Liang Chen made a gesture to open the door and get out of the car. Although he addressed Teacher Shi respectfully, his tone showed no trace of respect from beginning to end.
The Director Liang's eldest nephew was not able to resist the pressure and obediently sat in the passenger seat. As an exemplary figure, he failed to realize that he was actually condoning his student's illegal behavior.
Fortunately, this student's driving skills were not bad. The hands holding the steering wheel were steady and agile, and shifting gears was done without any ambiguity. After the car had traveled a certain distance, the supervisor finally relaxed.
Little did he know that a few minutes later, someone slapped him across the face. The car smoothly continued along the road leading to the suburbs, where there were few vehicles and the speed never dropped below 100 kilometers per hour.
The car window was rolled down, and the wind howled. The figures of people, trees, and houses by the side all turned into flickering illusions, disappearing within moments as the car swiftly traveled several meters behind. Shi Yixing tightly gripped the seatbelt, his heart leaping into his throat.
The driver, Liang, squinted his eyes in enjoyment, feeling the natural hot wind blowing through his clothes. Everything around him seemed to be unrelated to him.
Stop, stop the car... Slow down! Slowing down... Shi Yixing struggled in vain.
The car raced for half an hour, teetering on the brink of collapse before finally recovering to its normal speed.
"Comfortable!"
Liang Chen breathed a sigh of relief and his expression greatly improved. He was full of energy. He did not pay any attention to Shi Yixing's almost vomiting appearance in the passenger seat.
The car slowly drove back, passing through the bustling market and crossing the street of street food stalls, before finally stopping at the entrance of a bar two kilometers away from the school. Shi Yixing kept lecturing Liang Chen throughout the entire journey, but it all fell on deaf ears.
"Let's go, Teacher Shi. I'll treat you to a drink," Liang Chen said, feeling refreshed and invigorated after venting his frustrations.
At this moment, Shi Yi Xing's face had turned as red as a balloon from anger, and his voice had become hoarse from shouting all the way. "Go... cough cough, I want to go home!"
