Like a small boat
On the ocean
Sending big waves
Into motion
Like how a single word
Can make a heart open
I will scream them loud tonight
Can you hear my voice this time?
After her parents left, Linda immediately walked up to Simon and said enthusiastically: "Brother- in-law, aren't you bored staying in the house? How about I'll accompany you to the back garden of our house?"
"Okay." He walked vigorously and walked out of the door. The unspeakable physique was stern, and Linda looked at him diligently.
Although she had also made many boyfriends, none of them could be compare to him in terms of appearance, let alone their family background.
She had never seen such a good-looking man, especially when he laughed. Although it was not as warm as the sun, it was like a dew that landed from the sky, and it rippled in the hearts of people.
"Brother-in-law, do you love my sister very much?" Linda mustered the courage to ask the question that had been disturbing her.
Simon stopped and looked at the rare carrion flower. He calmly changed the topic, "Did this come all the way from South Africa?"
"Yes.. I didn't know that you know a lot about plants as well as being good at business." Linda replied.
"I don't, but I occasionally hear about these things from others." He continued walking. But Linda couldn't stand the tension building inside her anymore.
She took a deep breath and said, " Actually I was this close becoming your wife."
"What?" His thick brows furrowed. Simon didn't get what she meant.
"I was the one who was supposed to go for the blind date. My mom was being considerate to my sister since she lost her mother when she was young. Mom didn't want others to think that she was playing favourites, so she gave her the chance." Linda blubbered at once.
"Both of you are half sisters?"
"Yeah! My dad had her with some female dancer, an escort, he met when he was younger." Linda acted nonchalantly but her eyes revealed her disdain.
She intentionally revealed Yasmin's mother's identity. In the older days, a dancer, like an female escort, was a lowly job that regular people despised. Even if Yasmin did not end up being a female escort when she grew up, There was no denying fact that she was a daughter born to such a lowly status.
As expected Simon's expression suddenly changed, but it did not turn out as she thought. What he said next hurled her down from heaven to hell in an instant.
"How do you know that I would choose you if you come for a blind date?" He glanced at her and said, "Are you that confident in your looks, intelligence or attitude? No matter where your arrogance comes from it means nothing to me. If It was not going to be her, it doesn't mean that it would have been you."

Yasmin came downstairs with a luggage full of things, Simon took it from her expressionlessly, and then walked directly to the Rolls-Royce parked outside, opened the car boot, and tossed it.
The Taylor couple bid their daughter goodbye with phony grins..Linda who just suffered a severe blow, didn't go out.
There was another kind of courtesy, Yasmin could finally escape the hypocrites as Simon started the engine. This time she came back nicely because of the cooperation of Simon. It was a complete success.
She let out a long sigh of relief and looked at the man next to her. She sincerely said, "Thank you for today."
Simon didn't respond. Yasmin
felt weird, she remembered how his eyes were extremely cold when he picked up her luggage.
"Why're you so quiet?" Yasmin asked.
Without warning, the car hurriedly leaned towards the side of the road, and Simon turned sideways, questioning her expressionlessly: "Why didn't you clearly explain your identity when I was choosing my wife?"
Yasmine asked with a groan: "Explain you about what?"
"Even if I had been married six times, I will not marry an illegitimate girl, especially someone born to a lowly dancer. Your stepmother was being considerate to you and gave you a chance. What does she thinks us for? A charity organization??"
For a whole minute, Yasmin
couldn't say a word. His words mercifully pierced her heart.
Over the years, she thought she was invulnerable, but it still felt painful.
"Yes, I'm Henry Taylor's daughter born to a dancing girl, but I don't think this is a shameful thing. Though my father married my mother but there's no proof of it. That's why I'm an illegitimate child. But I didn't care!
Only two kinds of people will reveal their identity as illegitimate childs whenever they meet anyone. Either they are self biased, or to seek sympathy. I am not any of these."
"Then what kind of person are you?" Simon added. Yasmin didn't want to comment farther, so she remain silent.
When he saw her not speaking, he sneered: "Let me answer it for you, you are the most self-righteous person in the world."
"Yes, I am. I thought what you need is a wife who can stop your game life. And her identity does not matter, it seems that I am wrong!!" Yasmin was fuming, she got out of the door and slammed the door angrily.
She couldn't stand how Simon was looking down to her. After she took some steps, she felt someone grabbed her arm, "Get into the car."
The tone of that command added fuel to her fire. She shook her hand and retorted, " Even if I've nothing left, I'll not give up my dignity. "
Yasmin stormed away when a cold voice came from behind. "I can only be patient with women for three minutes. Are you getting into the car or not?"
The meaning behind was obvious. He would not repeat himself more than three times. In fact, he never had such patience with all of his ex-wives.
Yasmin closed her eyes and said silently to her heart, " Mom, I'm sorry just let me be petulant once."
Seeing that Yasmin was not going to accept his offer he turned around got into the car. He banged the door in a huff, started the engine and drove away....
When he got home he walked into the living room with a sour face. Mila was happily enjoying tea on the couch saw him and asked him "Why did you come home alone!! Where is your wife?"
"I don't know!" Simon replied impatiently.
He sat down on the sofa and ordered the servant to bring him snacks and water.
"You don't know? You went back to your in-law's house with her. NOW YOU'RE SAYING YOU DON'T KNOW!!?" Mila was furious.
She asked her son if he could save his snacks later? Simon drank the water, obviously too lazy to respond.
Mila was anxious for a while, so she hurried to dial her in-laws.
After calling them, her expression was very bad."Your mother-in-law said you came back together, where did you lose her?"
"It's good if I lose her."
"What's this behavior? How can a husband say that he lose his wife?"
"It's that I can't help to persaude that woman getting in the car on the way."
"So YOU LEFT HER?"
"Otherwise, what? Shall I beg her to come back?" Simon looked disdainful.
"Then you can't just leave her on the side of the road, women want to coax, will you die if you say a few good things to her ? Hurry up and bring her back!"
"I'm not the kind that can coax people. Or who did you see me coaxing?" Simon snorted coldly and got up to go back to the room. What kind of temper her son has, the mother knows best.
Mila was afraid of angering her son, so she softened her tone: "Well, since you are not willing to look for her, then you can call her and ask where she is now. I'm going to send someone to pick her up."
"I Don't have her number."
"YOU!!!..." Mila was about to brust into anger, and she pointed to her son: "You want to piss me off? You have been married for more than a week. Don't you even have your wife's number?"
"It has always been like this, what's all the fuss about." Simon's calm attitude stimulated her mother.
She stared and said sharply, "I don't care how you treated they before. Of those wives, Yasmin, in short, you have to treat her a little bit better, because she is the only daughter-in-law I loved as my daughter."
"It's useless to get affectionate with her, I'm going to divorce her soon."
"WHAT? D-DI-DI-DIVORCE!!!" Mila almost carried it by her back in one breath, and a stagger almost fell to the ground.
Fortunately, she was quickly stabilized by her daughter who had just returned from outside."Mom, what's wrong?"
Leah asked.
"Leah, Mom can't live anymore, your brother is going to divorce again!"
"Divorce again? So soon!!" Leah gasped and complained loudly: "Brother, you still let people live, let alone mom can't live, I can't live anymore."
Her head turned to her mother."Mom, I'll accompany you to die..."
At this time, Jhon Sebestian also came back from outside.
After listening to his wife and daughter, he shouted at his son: "You dare to divorce Yasmin, I am the first I die in front of you!"
"Oh, are you all crazy?" Simon muttered incredibly.
He didn't expect that a woman who had only been in the family for seven days would be able to maintain the family to such a degree, turned and went upstairs depressed.
He didn't stick to his principles for the first time. It was getting dark, and Yasmin still did not return.
Mila sent out three drivers and did not find her. Suddenly, the family was in a panic.
Simon finally went downstairs, holding the car key in his hand, without speaking, and walked straight to the door.
"Where are you going?" Mila asked.
"Go to find that stupid woman, so you all don't have to die and can live..."
