Today, when Rose came out of the company, she met two women who were gossiping in the lift.

Rose didn’t want to hear what they said. She wanted to hear some songs. But she heard that they were talking about her sister and York.

Hearing this topic, Rose stepped behind them and took off her earphones. She wanted to know what they were talking about.

“Oh, I tell you.” One who wore red dress with curly hair was putting up makeup there, “These days I hear that boss has affairs with his secretary.”

“What? I never heard of it.”

The other lady wore the yellow dress. She carried a bag on her hand. But she was very mean, “Boss’s secretary is so ugly. Her figure is not good at all. How would she do this?”

“Yes, I agree with you. Boss’s fiancée looks beautiful. She has a powerful family background. But he never took a look at her.” The red dress showed the white eyes of her eyes. She put the face powder back to the bad and took out a lipstick.

The other girl bit her lip and said, “Why would you say that they are together? Clearly our boss won’t have interest on her. What is the name of the secretary? Is it Nell?”

“I wouldn’t say such thing if I don’t have evidence.” The red dress dragged her closer and whispered, “That night I went to the night club. I saw them drink together.”

“What?” The lady had heard a big news. She smiled and asked, “Have they done something that can’t be told?”

The red dress hesitated for a while. She just told the truth, “Not at all. When I saw them, I was already drunk. I only remembered the girl sat by boss must be Nell. So, I think that they have affairs.

The red dress paused a while and continued, “So these days I carefully observed in the company. Last time the meeting, boss wasn’t that strict as he did before to Nell. If they have nothing, why would he change the attitude so quickly. I don’t believe it.”

“It is.” Another finally understood, “Last time I saw them eat lunch together. It is said that they were talking about jobs. But boss has already spent times with the secretary. Do they really need to discuss about work while having lunch?”

They were even more excited. They even started to dance. They almost forgot that Rose was standing behind them. Till the lift stopped, the two ladies went out. Rose stood there. She hadn’t been noticed.

This matter, Rose thought that it was just rumor. She didn’t live with Nell before she came to this city.

But women were always suspicious. Rose thought that she must investigate this matter.

Currently this matter, Rose couldn’t get rid of it. She must find the answer.

So, it became the reason why they argued so severe tonight.

After all, women were easy to be jealous. They might lose their mind when it came to relationship.

Rose meanly got rid of Nell’s hand. She pointed at Nell’s nose and scolded, “I know you aren’t my sister. You just pretended to treat me well. When you and I have disagreement, you would just abandon me!”

“I have never thought in this way. Why would you be so cruel?”

Nell felt very sad. She stepped backward. Rose forced Nell tightly by the wall.

Before, Nell would never believe that Rose would be so aggressive. She wasn’t like this. Nell was a kind and warm person. She would never have argument with others.

In Nell’s heart, Rose was a gentle and cute little girl. Why she would change because of such a small matter.

Nell probably was still too young. In her family, she never got the real love. This time the changing attitude of York, Nell didn’t feel anything. So right now, she wouldn’t understand why Rose was so angry.

The more she said, the more she explained, the more problems she would have.

“Let me explain. I only have connection with York on jobs. We don’t have any private affection. Why would you doubt us? Where did you hear the rumors?”

Nell stepped forward. She wanted to held Rose’s shoulders. But Rose just pushed Nell away, “So you admit that between you, people have the rumors of your relationship, don’t you?”

“I…”

Nell dared not to deny this word. So, knew if she hid more from Rose, it would be harder for her to solve the problem. Then she nodded. Nell bit her lips and said, “Somebody did say that. But I can assure you that it is just rumor. Why would you believe them instead of your sister?”

Rose laughed. She stared at Nell and said with sarcasm, “Now it is like this. How can you still say that let me trust you? Aren’t you feel guilty at all?”

“Let me explain…”

Nell didn’t know what she should say now. She still wanted to explain. But Rose just stopped her, “I don’t want to explain from you anymore. You just tell lies. You don’t intend to be honest with me at all.”
