Shawn swiftly moved to the window, and looked in the direction where the smell of humans was strongest. However, he didn’t see anything because his view was blocked by other buildings. He could only hear indistinct gunfire and voices.

At the moment, he was lucky that his sense of hearing had decreased, however, it didn’t decrease too much. Otherwise, he would have heard nothing, not to mention predicting the situation of the other side.

Thinking for a while, Shawn cuddled Bear White, which was looking eagerly at him, went downstairs. Reaching the ground floor, he found Ed standing at the window and looking outside.

“Did you see anything?”

Ed turned around, shook his head, went to the couch, and sat down, “Nope, nothing was seen. All have been blocked by other villas. Let’s wait and see what happens, and then make our decision.”

Shawn went to another couch and sat down. He felt Bear White, which was moving restlessly in his arms, and then put it on the table.

Bear White wagged its small tail, came to Ed, and stood opposite him immediately after reaching the table. It crooked its head, whined, and blinked its bright and intelligent eyes. It looked extremely adorable.

Ed’s heart was melted. He reached his hand out and felt its small head, and asked, “It has a name?”

“Yes, its name is Bear White.” Shawn looked at Bear White, and then looked at Ed. Suddenly, he felt they looked rather alike.

Ed laughed out, “What a name... Why not just call it Bear Dog?”

“You are Bear Dog.” Said Shawn.

“...” Ed refused to reply, and went on playing with Bear White. Bear White acting like wanting a hug, Ed gently picked it up.

Seeing this, Shawn raised his eyebrows.

Bear White became restless immediately after being held in arms by Ed. It started crawling in his arms. Thinking it was playing with him, Ed didn’t stop it.

Before long Bear White stopped crawling, but started looking at Shawn and whining. Whining for a while, it jumped out of Ed’s arms, wagged its tail, came to Shawn’s feet, and moved around him.

Shawn picked it up, put it on the table, and asked, “What’s up?”

Bear White whined, and then puked out two crystal cores.

“Hey? Where are the crystal cores from?” Said Ed. He had been looking at Bear White, and was very surprised at its action now.

“Wait!” Ed searched his pocket where he had put crystal cores, however, his two crystal cores had gone. It was obvious to know where the crystal cores puked out by Bear White had come from.

“They are mine.” Ed twitched his mouth and said, “No wonder it was so warm to me. It was a plot.”

Shawn raised the corner of his mouth, felt Bear White, which was eager for a praise, and said, “Nice work.” Bear White joyfully wagged its tail.

“Hey! How dare you teach your pet like this? You spoil it because it was not you who had been stolen.”

“Yes, exactly.” Shawn directly admitted it.

“...” Ed looked at the master and his servant in silence. Suddenly, he felt that in future the man, no, the dog, no, anyway both the master and his servant would bully him. What a miserable life!

He sounded out and asked, “Could you give me back my two crystal cores? It took me a whole day to get them.”

“Nope.”

Ed had anticipated the answer. He wailed, but did not use the force. He didn’t say anything, however, he knew not only had he owed Shawn a life, but he had also owed Shawn much more. Therefore, he had no problem with the fact that Shawn had taken two more crystal cores. He just felt that he should work harder to collect crystal cores from now on. Or he wouldn’t have them for his own use.

Ed had a flash of intuition, however, lots of noise came from outside and his intuition promptly disappeared. Shawn and he looked at each other, went to the window, and looked outside.

A crowd of people were streaming into the villa district.
