- Inside a big and dark castle, that's where the story begins.

Spirit: I'm sorry to disturb your peace master.

Unknown: I hope you're not coming empty handed.

Spirit: I would never dare to.

- The spirit hands him a piece of paper.

Unknown: Well done. I believe it hasn't been an easy job. How has he been?

Spirit: He's still besides himself. It will take some time untill he recovers.

Unknown: At least we have plenty of that.

• Present Time •

- We move to Westfield where Kira lives in her house with her brother.

"Do you know that feeling of anxiety in your stomach, that you cannot ascribe to anything? Sometimes you can simply predict it... From this day forward, nothing will be the same."

Kira: Oh, c'mon! Not again! Emma's gonna kill me!

- Today Kira and her friends supposed to travel for college together. Kira again overslept and she's late while her friends waiting her downstairs. The idea of leaving her home and moving to another town wasn't easy for her. It made her feel nervous. She dresses up so quickly and goes down to her friends.

Emma: Wohoo! The queen is finally here. You kept us waiting just for 45 minutes.

Kira: Forgive me, I really don't do it on purpose.

Alex: Forget about it. Let's hit the road already! We will be riding for a few hours.

Emma: Partying all time and waking on time doesn't go all hand in hand. Get it your head, girl!

Kira: Emma stop bothering me! Loosing up a little. Umm... By the way... I have been feeling so strange since the morning...

Emma: There's a name for that feeling—it's called a hangover.

Kira: It's not that...

Emma: Maybe it's because of the trip, which is perfectly normal...

Kira: I don't know. It could be...

Emma: And, also, all of us will move out of our lovely homes soon. It's not that simple... Our whole lives will change...

Kira: Yeah. That's constantly on my mind...

Alex: Ladies, please, quit the chit-chat. Let's get rolling. You'll have the time to discuss the meaning of life in the car.

- Kira was well aware of the fact that her life would drastically change and that it would be tough at first... But the gut feeling was something else...

- After a few hours later, and a long ride, laughter and good mood were interrupted by a thud and screech of brakes in the middle of the woods. Alex couldn't drive anymore, so they get out of the car.

Kira: What happened?

Alex: It seems we have a flat tire. I'll check it out.

Emma: That's cannot be happening... What're we going to do now?

Kira: I guess someone will come this way and help us out.

Alex: I have some news for you. Bad and worse.

Emma: Oh, lovely! I can't decide which to hear first.

Kira: Start with the less upsetting news.

Alex: It's just a flat tire, not a break down.

Kira: Oh. What's the worse then?

Alex: Well... I...

Emma: Spill out already!

Alex: I don't have a spread tire!

Emma: What?!

Kira: Are you kidding me?!

Alex: Unfortunately, that's the truth.

Emma: What moron goes on a trip without a spare tire? This can't be happening.

Alex: We'll figure something out. We'll call for help.

Emma: How you plan to do it?! We don't even know where we are, we're in the middle of nowhere. You're the one who insisted on coming this way!

Kira: Easy, folks, calm down!

Alex: I'll call Matt to come, and pick us up.

Emma: How will you explain to him how to find us?! We're hours away from home. Beasts will devour us before he gets here!

Kira: We're not little kids. Well find a solution, someone will come and help us out.

- After some time, it started getting darker outside.

Emma: Guys, this is totally not working! The night is falling and I'm truly not comfortable being in this godforsaken place.

Kira: Look! Car headlights! A car is coming!

Alex: Oh, finally...

- The three of them stepped on the road to stop the car which was heading their way. The driver parked by the road. The car was old and small. The old man who is riding the car was shabby-looking and grumpy, he addressed them in a rude manner.

Old man: You're blocking my way!

- The two girlfriends exchanged meaningful looks. Emma pushed Alex to the front.

Emma: Alex, you talk to him.

Alex: Thanks a lot!

- Alex goes to the old man with unsatisfied feeling inside him.

Alex: Sir, we had a flat tire. We've been standing here for hours, could you please help us?

Old man: Why did you even come this way?

Emma: Because our driver is an idiot!!!

Kira: Sir, that's not important right now. We don't know how to continue our trip.

Old man: You have to get away from here before it gets completely dark. Otherwise, you won't make it till morning. No one in their right mind will dare to go this way.

- The old man facial expression changed and they saw that he was frightened. The words he uttered made their blood run cold.

Emma: I knew it! I knew that there were beasts in the woods and that it wasn't safe!

Kira: Emma, for God's sake! We wouldn't sleep on the road but in the car.

Old man: You don't understand, kids. Nothing will help you.

- Emma turned to her friends and said, terrified...

Emma: Guys, what's this man talking about? Let's tell hil that we've figured it out and he can go. I don't like him at all.

Old man: I can't help you with the tire. I can drive you to the town, it's a few miles away. At your own risk, of course.

Kira: What kind of a town is that?

Old man: The town of the dead souls.

Emma: What???

Kira: What do you mean by that?

Old man: I don't have time for this. That's all I can offer you... But...

Alex: But what?

Old man: I suggest you think it through first...

Emma: I think we all agree, right?

- Alex and Emma looked at Kira.

Kira: What do you think? Should we go with him?

- Kira thought for a little bit. She knew they're three against one, and staying here won't do them any good.

Kira: Anything is better than staying here.

Emma: You're nuts, I'm not getting into that car!

Alex: I agree with Kira. He obviously has a good reason for warning us not to spend the night here.

Emma: Guys, you can go if you want to. I'm staying here.

Kira: Emma, we've been stuck here for hours... He's the only one who came this way...

Alex: There's three of us. What's the worst can happen?

Old man: Kids, I'm in a hurry... I have to go. If you don't want a ride, you can walk down the road. There's a house a mile from here, on the right. Maybe they can help you.

Emma: That seems like a better idea.

Old man: I guess you've chosen your way, just don't regret it later.

- The old man closed the window and left.

Emma: I don't get it. What did he mean by that?

Kira: I don't know, and I don't care. He's a total weirdo, I wouldn't take seriously anything he said.

Emma: I'm not so sure about that...

Kira: We can go look up for that house. Are you up for it?

- The three friends looked at each other to make sure that they all agreed. They started walking down the road, while the darkness completely covered the valley. After walking for an hour, they see something terrifying.
