- I wake up in the morning thinking about what just happened last night. I remembered the phone that Edward gave me so I check it out if there's any calls. Well he didn't yet. Right after thinking about it, I hear the phone rings.

Edward: Hi, Kate. It's me Edward.

Kate: Hi

Edward: I contacted someone I know in Europe. He will hire you as his remote assistant. It's just a cover for your new life. You don't have to do anything.

Kate: Oh. I understand. Anything else should I know?

Edward: Not now. I really like how you handle this as a serious matter.

Kate: Well, what can I do. You're the leader and am just here to follow.

Edward: Impressive. Good girl. Keep it that way.

Kira: That bastard...

- We ended the call and I dropped it off.

Kate: I hate when he acts as a jerk some times, but what can I do? this is my job and I need money. Just hold it for a while Kate. I need to meet that guy to convince him to give me some time to pay his money.

- So, I dress up and go take a taxi. As soon as I got there I found an unexpected thing... My debt is FULLY PAID!!

Me: OMG!! I can't believe it. I'm so happy. I must thank Edward for this!

- So I text him.

Kate: Thank you so much! I just leaved that guy's place. I can't believe you kept your promise.

- After a while...

- Kate: No answer! Let's forget about him and go back home.

- Two days pass without a single answer from Edward... Maybe he forgot this whole thing? I don't know. Maybe I should just move on and look for a job. Not even being able to finish my thoughts when I find a sudden visitor.

Ronan: Good day.

Kate: Oh. Hi, Ronan. You too.

Ronan: I came to give you this paper.

Kate: What's it about?

Ronan: It's your new address. You must move in fast. By the end of the week will be fine.

Kate: What? But why?

Ronan: It's the boss's orders. He rented this apartment by your name.

Kate: I can't just leave my place. It's my home! Lemme talk to your boss first.

Ronan: Okay.

I texted Edward with anger.

Kate: What is this all about? I can't just leave my place.

Edward: You wanna film a sex movie in your family place? gimme a break.

Kate: No!

Edward: Then do as I say! I'm trying to make things easier for you.

Kate: Fine.

Edward: Ronan will take care of everything. Bye.

- I ended him feeling frustrated. I can't believe that he always gets what he wants!

I then turn to Ronan.

Kate: Is he always like that? Gets always what he wants?

Edward: Most of the time. Yes.

- Ronan leaves me and I decided to go out to get some fresh air. So I change my outfit and go to a restaurant near me. Likely, I meet Lili there.

Kate: Hi, Lili. How was your night?

Lili: Oh tell me about it. It was AWESOME! The jelly night I needed.

Kate: Yeah. I need to tell you something.

Lili: What?

Kate: I got a new job. Also, I have to move away for a while.

Lili: Wow! Lucky you. Does this job pays well?

Kate: Quite well! I just got rid of my debt. Am finally on the safe zone!

Lili: Wohooo! This is my baby girl! This is your lucky day.

Kate: Yeah right.

Lili: And me too!

Me: What do you mean?

Lili: I'm back with my ex! I know what you're gonna say but lemme explain to you.

Kate: Ah Lili, not again.

Lili: I know we have our ups and downs but we love each other.

Kate: Are you sure that's what you want?

Lili: He is the one Kate. I'm sure he is.

Kate: If that's the case, so let's drink a toast.

- As we drink I can't think but being thankful that Lili wouldn't know what I got myself into. Also, am so happy for her although her dummy decisions. Hiding this secret is heavy when I'm around everyone I know, so it's better when I'm away...

- Later at night, I walk into a classy apartment building in one of the most expensive parts in the city. It has a private elevator that leads to the apartment Edward rented for me. I open the door to find an expensive wide room. And there are some candles. What a nice touch! I then realized that this place is for me. I have to give up my old life for this new one. Will I be able to do so? After a long thinking and observing the apartment, I enter my bedroom and find out that I'm not alone...
