In the meeting room, no matter what solutions Nell Su had suggested, the people of Qing He Group had decided to cancel this order.

One financial adviser stood up and bowed to Nell and said, “Miss Su, I am sorry to inform you. This time it might be sudden. Because of our company’s inner reason, our capital chain had broken. So, we can’t continue this order anymore. As it says, we should pay compensation to you. But the contract we signed last time showed that this order could be cancelled for free within 14 days. Nell opened her mouth, but she didn’t say a word.

“Here is the cancel contract we signed. Please take a look. If you don’t have any other problems. We’ll go.”

The representative pushed the document in front of Nell.

“But…”

Nell wanted to say something to refute. She wanted to persuade them. But before she said something, the staffs of Qing He Group stood up and left the room.

Nell didn’t expect that the people of Qing He Group showed her no mercy and left. They even didn’t give her the time to check the contract.

Nell touched her hairs. She didn’t know what she should do now. She trembled and took out the phone to call secretary Wang.

“Hello.”

Nell said with a weeping sound. The secretary who was reading files was shock, “What is the matter? Are you alright?”

“The people of Qing He Group have gone. I failed this project. I couldn’t keep them here.”

Nell tried to manage her emotions. But she knew that she couldn’t do it anymore and cry. She said to the secretary, “Where are you now? Come to the meeting room.”

“Alright. Don’t cry. I will come right away.”

Secretary Wang said to Nell. He took the files and went to Nell.

“What is going on? Tell me what happened exactly.”

As soon as secretary Wang went in, he asked. He found Nell sitting in the corner of the room like an injured kitten, weeping.

Her long hairs covered her face. But secretary Wang still could see that she was weeping there.

Secretary Wang knew that Nell always worked hard. This time was a big failure to her. It was quite normal for her to cried.

The secretary felt sorry for Nell. He put the files on the desk and gently walked to Nell. He used his arm to hold Nell’s shoulders awkwardly. He didn’t know where he should put his hands properly.

He gently said, “Alright, you don’t need to cry. Nobody could solve this problem. You are good enough. You have held them here for a very long time.”

“But I didn’t save this order.” Nell kept weeping. Hearing what secretary Wang said, she felt more miserable, “Mr Gu trusted me so much. I failed him. I think I don’t deserve…”

“Don’t say that.”

Secretary helped Nell up. He took her to rest on the sofa. He searched all his pockets to find a napkin. Secretary Wang only found a handkerchief. He wobbly gave it to Nell. “I don’t have napkin. Just use this.”

Nell was weeping there. She used the handkerchief to blow her nose. It was kind of awkward for Nell. While secretary found her cuter. He slightly patted her head.

Secretary Wang sat beside Nell and said gently, “You came to our company for a short period. But you have already been good at your job. Don’t push yourself too hard. Our boss did say that he trusted you. If he didn’t, he wouldn’t let you solve this problem yourself. Since he gave you the right to do this, he would have to take the responsibility.”

Secretary paused for a while, he continued, “Although losing this order would bring big impact to our company, it is not that serious. We can work harder to have more orders to cover this.”

“But…”

Nell looked up with tears in her eyes. She wanted to blamed herself more. Secretary Wang stopped her, “Alright, don’t say anymore. Yes, I believe there is something wrong in this matter. I have checked the contract. It doesn’t have any problems at all. They can make good profits. I don’t know why they would give it up.”

“Do you think that someone asked them to give it up?”

Hearing what secretary Wang said, Nell had this conclusion.

The Secretary Wang quickly typed something on the phone, “beware of eavesdroppers.” and showed it to Nell.
