"Damn it!"

Hunter Chi drinks up his glass of wine and asks for another round.

"Hey guy, you've had enough today. No more wine!"

It is his bosom friend Jason who's speaking. Jason is a delicate and handsome man. He is a good friend of Hunter Chi from college.

"I want badly to kick out that goddamn woman Sherry! Only in this way can my hatred be vented!"

"You married her for an impure purpose. So it is excusable that she messes with you like this now." Jason shakes his head.

"Why are you always helping that goddamn woman?"

Hunter Chi shoots a glance at him discontentedly, "I asked you to have a drink with me, not teach me a lesson!"

"All right. You've been talking about Sherry Lin all the time. Do you still remember Wendy who's now across the ocean?"

Jason looks at him.

"Wendy..."

Something suddenly occurs to Hunter Chi. He looks excited,

"Oh! I heard that Wendy's coming back at the end of this month!"

"Yes, in the afternoon of 28th this month. Are you going to pick her up?"

"Of course!"

Hunter Chi says immediately, "I want to be the first person she sees when she comes back!"

"Then, what about your marriage? How are you gonna explain it to her?"

Jason dampens the enthusiasm of him without notice.

Hunter Chi's face turns clouded immediately on hearing this.

"I...I'll explain it to her. As long as Wendy is willing to wait for three years, I'll divorce Sherry Lin immediately after three years and get married with her!"

Jason signs,

"Do you know why Wendy went abroad so determinedly?"

"She said that she wanted to chase after her dream."

"Then what about now? Has her dream come true?"

Hunter Chi is lost in thought again on hearing what Jason said.

He thinks of the scene two years ago.

"Why do you have to go to America? Isn't it good that you stay here with me?

He couldn't believe what was happening in front of him--Wendy Mo was packing up.

"Hunter, you are chasing after your dream and I'm chasing after mine. I want to be a world-class designer, so I have to go to study in America. Please don't try to stop me, OK?"

"But...you can also learn it here. I can find you the best school and the best teacher..."

He grabbed Wendy Mo's hands. He was almost begging her.

"Hunter, I don't want to depend on you. I want to prove myself with my own capability. Do you know that?"

"But...I've lost my parents already. I can't lose you!" His eyes became watery and he started sobbing.

Wendy Mo signed,

"Hunter, do you know what I hate most about you? That's the way you are now. You are too easy to cry. But you are a man. Besides, your parents have passed away. You are the pillar of your family and the company. You are not supposed to be a cry baby!"

Hunter Chi got stunned on hearing what Wendy Mo has said.

He thought that it was his right to show his true self. However, it was this true self that drove his lover away.

"I won't be back until you wipe away your tears and become a real man! This is also my biggest expectation for you!"

Therefore, he learnt to conceal his emotion during these years. He no longer easily shows how he really thinks and has become overbearing, proud and aloof.

And people around him, who used to be close with him, has been afraid of him.

Wendy, I've become the person you wanted me to be.
