"Another company?"

The two men stare at each other again. They seem to have never thought about it.

"Well, my father's company is also engaged in this industry. We can accept the price you offered. If you are interested, I can convince my father to raise the price. I promise you can make money out of it."

"Well..."

They seem to be hesitated, "We've been doing business with the Chi's for more than a decade. If we find another company to cooperate with, will the Chi's make trouble for us?"

"Don't worry. Now that I'm Hunter's wife, we have marital relations. As the saying goes, families won't fight each other. If you cooperate with my family, you actually cooperate with the Chi's. It's just the same by nature."

After being bamboozled by Jersey Lin, the two men are suddenly enlightened. They ask Jersey Lin for his father's contact information at once and begin to work on changing cooperation company.

After seeing them out, Jersey Lin calls his father and tells him about what happened,

"They are two major clients. Our company may be saved by just one deal with them. Dad, you have to seize this opportunity."

"I know, Jersey. But are we doing the right thing? Stealing away the Chi's business brazenly..."

"Don't worry. I'll solve it."

Although he says so, Jersey Lin knows that he's gonna fight a fierce battle.

In the middle of the night, his door is kicked open, and behind the door, there is the exasperated Hunter Chi.

"Aren't you supposed to knock the door before you come in?"

Jersey Lin looks at Hunter Chi coldly with his arms crossed in front of his chest.

"What have you done today?"

Hunter Chi rushes to him, looking extremely furious.

"Don't play dumb with me! You took two big deals from me! I lost tens of millions yuan because of what you've done!"

Hunter Chi grabs hold of Jersey clothes.

"You couldn't close this deal, could you? I fixed it for you. It's ok that you don't thank me for this, but are you gonna hit me for this?"

Jersey Lin is not afraid of his roar at all.

"Who told you that I couldn't close the deal? I only wanted to play rough with those two old bastards! They are my father's old pals, so they raise prices at will. I only did this wanting to calm them down! I didn't expect that you got the upper hand and took it away from me halfway through!"

Jersey Lin laughs in a low voice. He grabs hold of Hunter Chi's hand and puts it down,

"Play rough? Calm them down? You think you are an emperor in ancient China, don't you? Everyone has to obey you, right? In such a market with fierce competition, everyone is equal in front of opportunities. You take the initiative to quit the competition, there's naturally someone else to take it over. This deal, even if it's not me, will be taken over by someone else eventually, given this attitude of yours!"

After being taught a lesson by him, Hunter Chi becomes even more furious. He's been having a favourable life since he was born. He has never been taught a lesson by anyone,

let alone a woman that he looks down upon.

He reaches out his hand and wants to slap this arrogant woman in the face. But suddenly his arm is grabbed by a hand!

"What? You're gonna hit me only because you are unable to outspeak me? As the CEO of a big company, is this what you've got?"

"You...I'm gonna ruin your father's company tomorrow!"

Hunter Chi shouts at Jersey Lin.

"You can do so. But you can't get the inheritance."

Jersey Lin answers him unhurriedly.

"Ah! Are you threatening me?"

Hunter Chi points at Jersey Lin's face with his finger, "I'm telling you, woman, don't try to make me comprise using this trick all the time! If you provoke me again, I'll lock you up here for the next three years!"

"Try me."

It's not an easy thing to threaten Jersey Lin.

"Hum!"

The door is shut down by Hunter Chi. Jersey Lin hears the sound of locking the door.

But how can such small trick baffle him?
