The warm and soothing morning sunlight touched Jane’s face through the window gauze. The girl was still asleep. She had long eyelashes, small and delicate nose and pink soft lips.
Jane was in a sound sleep and having a sweet dream in which she got together with her father, Cindy and mom--they were playing at the amusement park like what they had done several years ago.
But suddenly, a storm came and the park started to collapse. Her parents were gone and she was all by herself with Cindy.
“Jane, run!”
She yelled, tried to dash to them but her both feet were as heavy as two giant granite so that she failed to move.
“Jane--”
She opened her eyes. While her pillow had already been stained by her tears.
“It was just a dream, a nightmare.” Jane’s heart beat rapidly. Then she managed to calm down and look around this strange room.
The room was far grander and cozier than her bedroom with luxurious decorations and furniture equipped in this hundreds of square meters place.
On the table beside her bed, there placed nearly all choices that she could imagine for breakfast.
“Wow, so many. Breakfast buffet?” Jane was a little bit confused.
What she didn’t know was that the breakfast was arranged by the well-known stony-hearted Wayne Chen.
He was not sure what she liked for breakfast so the guy had servants to cook whatever they could and had them delivered into her room.
Jane tried to got up from bed but she then felt ultimately weak and fell back to bed again. Those hickeys scattered all over her body were demonstrating that she belonged to Wayne now.
The girl washed her body with bath lotion over and over again. She still couldn’t help dropping her tears even though she had made up her mind and had to be determined.
What she had gone through last night was way much different from what she imaged before. The guy might have loved her, but he was a complete stranger the day he went away.
She could tell that the guy still hated her from the way he treated her.
But then the phone sang and she stepped out of the bathroom to answer it.
It was an unknown number.
“Who is it?”
“Sister, sister——”
It was her little sister.
“Cindy——”
Jane’s heart wrenched.
“Who are you? What are you doing to my sister?”
“I missed you, my beauty.” The nasty voice came from the other end of the line. It was Jeff Nam.
“I’ll give you an address. Remember, come there alone.”
“Hurry up.”
“Actually, your little sister is my type, too.”
Then there came a burst of laughter and the line was cut off.
“Jeff, you son of a bitch!” Jane roared. No one was allowed to harm her Cindy. No one!
For the next second, she picked up her jacket and dashed out of the room without any hesitation.
“Sir, here’s the address. Please hurry up.”
Jane pointed at the cell phone screen. Her heart beat like crazy for she was afraid of something bad would happen to Cindy if she was half a second late.
“Cindy, I’ll be here soon. Please wait...”
Jane clutched the phone tightly in her hands and was quivering out of fear and anger.
The phone sang again. She answered it right away.
“Jeff Nam, I’ll be there in any second. Do not harm my sister!” Jane yelled like a mad tiger for she must protect her little sister.
It was ultimate silent at the other end. Then a deep and husky voice echoed.
“How dare you left the room?” the owner of this sexy voice was Wayne Chen.
“The money, transfer to my account right now.” Jane Lim hung up the phone and took a deep breath twice. The man’s call gave her a glint of hope in rescuing Cindy.
She had to be calm as she confronted the thug then.
Bad J had warned her that she had to come there alone so the meeting couldn’t be known by Wayne. If that guy did something to her Cindy, she would never forgive herself.
However, Wayne was pissed off at the other end of the line.
...
The cab screeched to a halt near an abandoned factory.
After paying the driver, Jane dashed to the factory building.
“Jeff! Open it!” With all her force, she tapped the door, on which some dust even started to fall down.
It was then been pulled open and gave out some piercing noise. Instantly, Jane spotted her little being bound around the corner.
She held her anxiety back, pretended to be calm and stepped in.
“Release my sister.” Jane cast a cold eye to Jeff who was leaning over an old machine.
“Yep. Don’t worry. As long as you stay with me for a few days, I might ask my dad to put off the deadline.”
“Your price is a little bit low.” Jane moved her lips.
“A little bit low? Who do you think you are? I’m afraid you and you sister will fail to earn 100 million dollars even if you both go abroad to be prostitutes.” Jeff walked to her with carnal desire burning in his eyes as he spoke.
“The money will be transferred to All-star Group right away. You let my sister go.” Jane glared at Jeff.
“Give up this nonsense. Come to me, baby.” Before Jane could finish her words, Jeff threw her onto the ground and began to rip her clothes.
Jane struggled to get free as Jeff’s men were laughing and clapping...
Then everything seemed to be stopped.
The door was bumped open.
Two figures appeared, one of which dashed to Jeff like a flashlight.
And he gave a hard kick.
Like a football, Jeff flew right against a machine and then fell hard onto the cement floor.
Jeff spat some blood and looked up in disbelief.
Who was it? Who kicked him? He Bad J was something in F city. He had never met someone beat him like this.
“Bad J.”
“Boss.”
Jeff’s men all dashed forward and surrounded the guy with sticks.
The man loosened his fist, he was holding a 2-meters-long steel chain.
He bent over and waved the chain--all these guys were easily beaten up.
It didn’t take three minutes for the war to end.
A handsome face appeared in front of Jane.
Then he came to untie her and picked her up like the hero in American movies.
For the next second, another man showed up, gave his jacket to Jane and walked to Jeff Nam.
It was Wayne Chen. He bent down and gazed at Jeff.
“I’ve told you what you’re gonna have the next time you see me.”
His voice was as calm as the pond at the deepest of the forest. However, those who knew him got it that the calmer he presented, the more furious he was.
