Henry Su seemed to know that she was not in a good mood. She lowered her head and was silent all the way, so he left her to think quietly alone.
It was just dark outside, and the time for dinner was up. At the gate of the cinema, Henry Su suggested, "Shall we have dinner before going back?"
The man's eyes with some meaning of asking for permission, Amanda shook her head, "Is there two movie tickets given by Grandpa Su, isn’t it?"
Henry Su chuckled and took out two movie tickets from his pocket. He shook his hands and said with a smile, "Amanda, you were not really meaning to see this, were you?"
Amanda didn’t say anything hearing this. Henry Su put the tickets back in his pocket and held Amanda’s hand. "Well, I’m just kidding. No need to watch it. Let’s go to have dinner. Grandpa won't be mad. He just wants us to go to the movies. As for what movies to watch, he doesn’t care.”
His words were a little sincere. She took back her hand, not held by Henry, the tip of her finger still had a man's temperature. She rubbed her fingertip shyly, and nodded under his eyes, then going to dinner with Henry Su.
In the soft light, Henry Su's delicate face was more and more clear, attractive .The whole person was as far as the bright moon in the sky, you could see it, but you could not touch it. Between her and Henry Su, there was always invisible distance.
That violent Henry Su, that sneering Henry Su, and now this gentle Henry Su, which one was the real him? At this moment, Amanda suddenly didn't know. She became a bit confused, not able to see clearly the way ahead and their future.
Amanda Lin and Henry Su might have no future after all.
A few mouthfuls, the appetite was gone . "I don't want to eat it. I want to rest."
Henry froze for a moment, then put down his chopsticks and nodded, "OKay, let's go back."
He paid the bill and took her out of the restaurant with him. There was a bit cold outside. Henry took off his coat and put it on the Amanda to warm her.
He went to pick up the car. Amanda was waiting for him on the street in his coat. The wind at night was a little chilly, sucking up her warmness.
On the side of the street, neon lights flicker with colorful lights, as dazzling as the Milky way. She looked at the bright moon in the sky and reached out hand trying to touch it.
She was so far away from the moon, like a grand and gorgeous dream. When she woke up, she would have nothing.
At this moment, this bright moon was beside her, but everything was so unreal, a castle in the air.
She turned around, Henry Su had taken back the car, stopping at the roadside. Seeing her turning around and looking at him, he got off , holding her in his arms and brought her to the car. He carefully opened the door for Amanda, pulled the seat belt for her and drove back to Su's house.
Along the way, two people were also silent, nothing changed. She looked out of the car window at the twinkling scenery, everything was fleeting, there was nothing to stop, only this man was always by her side.
She turned her head and stared at Henry. His eyes were like sparkling stars, and his skin was white, not that pale color, but a healthy white color. The hair in front of the man's forehead was slightly curled. One or two of them were slanted, and there was some unique taste in it. When she looked at him, she could not help losing her mind. All the time. Looking at him like a fool.
She seemed to notice Henry’s smile on his white face. And she took back eyes instantly.
There was a crossroads ahead, Henry was waiting for the green light. She looked down at her fingertips and kept silent.
"Look good?"
A sound suddenly came out, Amanda answered with doubt, "what's up?"
Henry’s face smiled weird, “ I’m looking good?"
Listening to his words, she just got what he meant suddenly. Her face was red and hot, but Amanda didn't want Henry to see through her embarrassment. She just stared at the traffic light and said coolly, "I just want to see who looks better between you and Edward."
"I see."
He nodded, as if he understood, and smiled, "So? Do you forget him when you look at me? Amanda, was it really so hard for you to love me? "
