Lying on bed, Jasmine felt her belly which had sunk down, and felt awful. She still didn’t figure out why she would have got a run, and she had always had a healthy stomach.

"Hum, hum." The cellphone started vibrating. She picked it up and it was a phone call from Jenny.

"Hello, Jenny. What’s up?" She wondered. Jenny should be finishing up her manuscript at the time.

"Jasmine, these days I found there were always several men in black suit hanging around our home. They seemed prying into your affairs!" Jenny’s tone was full of anxiety on the phone, for fear that Jasmine meet some troubles she couldn’t get rid of.

"Why would someone pry into my affairs?" It really puzzled her.

"Anyway, watch your back recently, and don’t make any mistakes." Said Jenny.

"Oh, I see!" On second thought, she just terminated the contract with the former company, and changed her agent Mary. Therefore, Mary could no longer follow her. And Mary worked for Jessica. They had lost track of her since terminating the contract, so sent someone prying?

"Maybe they are sent by Jessica. I have terminated the contract with Mary planted by her, so she sent someone else to inquire about my whereabouts." For fear that Jenny would worry about her, Jasmine explained to Jenny patiently.

"Oh, I see. You should still be careful, and not get bullied by her." Jenny’s doubts were dispelled.

"I got it. Take it easy, Jenny. Go back for your manuscripts. I won’t get bullied."

"Okay, Jasmine. I’ll have to ring off and get back for my manuscripts." Said Jenny.

    "Mm-hmm."

After hanging up, Jasmine felt rather complicated. Not only did Amanda in the crew always find fault with her, but Jessica in the dark eyed covetously her as well. Why were they so overbearing?

Jasmine adjusted her mind and put these personal enmities aside, for she wanted to conquer others with her performance skills. However, what she didn’t know was that Amanda was not intended to spare her.

The next morning, Jasmine was going to do the scene as usual, but the director stopped to talk to her.

"Jasmine, there will be reporters on set today. Take your best shot." The director looked at Jasmine satisfiedly. "Don’t have got a run again."

"Yes, director. I will make a good showing." Said Jasmine in excitement, however, couldn’t help roasting him. "The director must have collaborated with the reporters. Some come to the film set to find selling point, and others hype it up in cyberspace to catch the public’s eyes. Moreover, Edward, the leading actor of Colourful Romance is a hot shot star, who has countless fangirls."

On set, Jasmine saw Amanda in the crowd first, who was chatting with people around. It was probably because there would be reporters on set that she had to maintain her image and stop fighting with Jasmine.

Then Jasmine caught sight of two strange males in the back, and one of them was holding a camera.

"Don’t look, come to the set, Jasmine." The director called her who was standing there in a daze, and urged her into the studio.

    "Okay." Said Jasmine.

The scene was about increasing emotions between the leading actor and the leading actress, and there were no lack of intimacies. That was probably why reporters had been invited here today.

The young lady, played by Jasmine, grasped a handkerchief in her hand, wandered in the courtyard, and seemed to be waiting in anxiety. Suddenly, a figure skimmed over the wall. In the blink of an eye, the leading actor, played by Edward, stood in front of the young lady.

"I’m here." A deep, charming voice sounded in her ear.

The young lady blushed quickly, turned around, lowered her head, and murmured, "Why are you so late?"

The crowd should have been immersed in an eyeful of handsome and beauty, however, there was a stain of red liquid appearing on Jasmine’s skirt while she turned around.

A sharp-eyed photographer shot the scene promptly.

"Cut." Called out the director, and Jasmine felt puzzled at it.

"What the hell is that on your skirt, Jasmine? Go to deal with it now!" The director didn’t expect such an embarrassing thing would happen at this critical moment.

Hearing this, Jasmine was frozen. She looked down at her skirt, and there was nothing strange in front. So she promptly turned around to check the back. However, she stepped on the skirt because of panic. All of a sudden, she lost her balance and was about to fall down. But the anticipated pain didn’t come. Opening her eyes, she found it was Edward who had held her.

Looking at Edward, Jasmine thought he was rather reliable.

"What are you frozen with, Jasmine?" Seeing her lying in Edward’s arms, the director was rather upset. Why was her still obsessed with Edward? Besides, there were other crew on set.

Shouted at by the director, Jasmine realized how improper she was. Instantly, she stood up from Edward’s arms, and rushed toward the changing room.

As for the reporters collaborating with the director, although they didn’t shoot the scene they wanted, the photo they got was enough for them to make a big news. So they slipped away with photographers as the director was having a headache.

Looking at the photo in her cellphone, Amanda uttered a snorting laugh. "Now the little bitch can’t get away from my hand." She thought, "As long as capturing eyes of the public, the entertainment media could say anything. Such as, Jasmine’s personal life was chaotic and she had miscarriage on set, she was ashamed and hooked up with Edward, etc."

Thinking of this, Amanda couldn’t help laughing, and decided to leak the photo to the media promptly.

Sitting in the changing room and looking seriously at the red stain on her skirt, Jasmine was sure her period didn’t come. So where did it come from? The costume was prepared by the staff of the crew, and there was no reason for them to set her up.

She ruled out the staff preparing the costume, and started recalling the scene that she came into the changing room. "At that time, a female extra lowered her head and passed me by. Was it her? It seems that she is close to Amanda and Lily, and always flatters them."

Thinking of this, she figured out who had set her up. The reason that she had got a run was probably caused by them, too! "They would treat me as a coward if I don’t strike back."

Jasmine thought it was time to strike back, however, how should she deal with what happened today?

On the other side, Brad knocked the door of Edward’s room.

"Mr. President, Jasmine seemed to be well. Only her skirt clung to a red stain." Said Brad.

"Well? Why did you talk to me about is?" Said Edward in a bad mood, "The woman has been cruel to hurt me. Why should I give a damn shit about her? She must know how tragic her life would be without me."

"I got it, President." Brad walked backward out of the room reluctantly. For no reason had they fallen out with each other.
