Saxon was annoyed, but he knew he could not be too bossy and it’s too early to lay his cards on the table. He tried to calm himself down and then pulled her head onto his chest. After that he laid down his head on hers and said gloomily, "Sleep!"

Hearing this, Winnie’s heart trembled: was he going to sleep in her bedroom?! But Winnie dared not to make that clear, because she knew once Saxon decided, no one could stop him and that he might be very crazy.

Thus she held her breath, kept quiet and remained in Saxon’s arms. Soon afterwards, she heard some regular breath from above her.

Winnie relieved and relaxed a little. She felt lucky that he didn’t have any further unusual behaviors.

Maybe she just now was too nervous. She now felt tired as soon as she was relaxed. She went to sleep lightly in his arms.

And just as Winnie began to sleep, Saxon opened his eyes.

He looked down to appreciate Winnie’s sleeping face affectionately. She was sleeping soundly, her mouth smiling and her eyes shining purely like the moon in the dark. He could not help raising his hand to touch her face gently and piously.

And then he lowered his head to kiss Winnie’s forehead like a pious Christian. He sighed a deep sigh. He could not believe all these before him were true. It looked as if he were in the dream of last life.

After Winnie left him in the last life and he was reborn, it was the first time he did go to sleep. He was very glad.

The next day, when Winnie woke up, she was at a loss for a few seconds. As soon as she came back to herself, she quickly got off her bed. Actually, she usually got up late. But this time, things were different. She would never let her father or Granny know Saxon in her bedroom

She was very nervous and wanted to urge Saxon to leave her bedroom secretly. And she swore in her mind if Saxon could follow her idea she would do whatever he asked.

She expected an unavoidable argument might follow when urging Saxon to leave her bedroom. To her great surprise, she found the place where Saxon slept the night before was empty!

Winnie was shocked. The sheets on the bed were folded in order and tidy. If Winnie was not sure about the happening of Saxon’s sudden attack last night, she would think it were only a dream.

Winnie wondered whether Saxon was so kind to leave her early to avoid her embarrassment.

When Winnie got dressed and came downstairs, she saw her father and Saxon were sitting at the table chatting.

Because of last night’s experience, Winnie kept quiet to avoid being noticed. She wanted to finish her breakfast quickly and left.

However, as soon as she sat down, Tony said to her excitedly, "Winnie, we should really thank Saxon this time! If not for his requesting his father, we were not able to get the land in the city north, which had cost all the property of our family!"

Winnie gazed at her father and wanted to make sure, "Father, you mean… the land is settled?"

Tony knew Winnie loved her late mother very much and didn’t want to make her worried at such a young age, so he didn’t tell her about the land in detail.

However, he was a shrewd businessman after all. From his daughter’s answer, he immediately sensed that she had known everything about it. He frowned and asked Winnie lightly, "You knew this already?"

Winnie at once realized she gave an improper answer. She became frightened and nervous. She wanted to escape, but she didn’t know how to explain.

Just then a low muffled voice came to her ears, "I mentioned to her carelessly on the way home yesterday… I know the land was your engagement gift with Auntie. It is very important to you. So I supposed Winnie should know it. I didn’t expect that Winnie knew nothing about it. I am sorry, Uncle…"

Winnie was a little surprised but grateful to Saxon, who actually helped her by explaining this to her father.

Tony laughed loudly and happily, "It doesn’t matter. I worried that she might be sad about it, so I didn’t tell her about it. Now that Saxon has helped about it, it is all right."

From Tony’s words, Winnie could see her father appreciate Saxon very much.
