Sean sighed, laughing at his tendency to worry about the things he shouldn't worry about. He turned around to wash his hands to pack the luggage for William.

The four kittens were very vivacious, staggering to surround Sean with their short legs in groups. They squatted in the suitcase curiously, having a nice time.

"Ok, ok, come out quickly." Sean touched their foreheads with his fingertips one by one."I'll get a tongue-lashing it he sees it......"

William was actually at the door, but he did not dare to make a sound. Sean was sometimes so gentle, which could let him fear. He remembered that Elton kept a particularly silly Huskie at first which annoyed him so much. And he could endure it as he did not go to his home. But later, when he saw there were some dog hairs on Elton's body, he couldn't endure it anymore. Elton's eyes were always red at those days when he handled the dog, and he could be totally insouciant about it. But at this moment, seeing Sean playing with the four kittens, which made him feel the warmth and harmony of the quiet good time, William even didn't mind that the cat hairs might stick to his shirts and suits.

He could jilt his kept toy boys if they were indocile, but he would never treat Sean like this. Even if he had been weary of the insipid days like boiled water, but no one could replace the person who accompanied him all the time. William would understand sooner or later that people's heart was the biggest variable in the world, while he did not understand it at this time. People always had a strong confidence in what they had owned all the time, subconsciously thinking that it would always be his, so he was lazy to manage it again. However, Sean even couldn't control his own life at this time.

William didn't like to wear a scarf, but Sean was afraid that he would be cold, insisting on putting a scarf on him. William bowed his head to see Sean who was tying the scarf intently and then laughed: "Good wife and loving father."

Sean gave him a mean look, patting the tied scarf : "Go now."

William reached out his hand and touched the angular cheeks of Sean: "Eat more. You are too thin. When I have time, I'll accompany you to have a physical examination."

The most unreliable words in the world were "waiting", "the next time" and "when I'm free", as you would wait for nothing as time passed by.

Sean hung his eyelids and said ok docilely, seeing William leave. His figure was still great with straight spine. When you loved someone, even his walking way would be special and handsome in your eyes, even if he never looked back when he left.

Sean closed the door and sat down beside the table, eating half a bowl of the porridge, which was already cold.

When William was on business trip, he rarely called Sean, perhaps because he was truely busy, or perhaps just because it was inconvenient. Sean never checked his whereabouts sneakly, feeling it was really degrading for a man to act like a woman. Besides, it was impossible to prevent a man from cheating who was bent on it.

Sean had no serious follow-up reaction after the chemotherapy last time, and he didn't lose his hair so severely as he expected. Sean dare not take it lightly, because he knew that since he decided to treat the disease, it was just the beginning. He had to think of the worst results, which he actually didn’t care about.

Gene paid a lot more attention to Sean than before, calling Sean even more than William. Sean sometimes felt funny, teasing the cat and saying: "Doctor, won't your page be docked as you make phone calls at work?"

Gene also joked: "I'm concerning my patient's mental health."

Sean gradually found that Gene's asceticism and rigour were all fake and he was particularly interesting after they got familiar. His mouth always worked faster than his mind. He was just like a big wolf dog, which looked mighty and domineering from afar while shook its tail to act cute after you got familiar with it. Sean scratched the cat's neck and thought it a bad idea to associate Gene with the big dog.
