This sentence was a little ridiculous.

I stared at Jason in the mirror for a while, slowly, I turned to look into his eyes, "Jason, we are not comrade any more, can you stop meddling in my affairs?"

"What?" Hearing that, Jason was stunned.

I wiped the water off my face, and then pointed to him, "It's none of your business. Yes, you are right. I am fucking blind, but I have my principle of life and my own personality. I don't like her, so I must refuse her. I won’t turn around and do exactly the opposite."

When Jason heard that, he turned very gloomy. Yeah, I was just scolding him and driving him away.

I continued, "Now we are not in the elite special forces, and of course, Mark can't see us, so just leave me alone."

Obviously, Jason was angry. Two meters away I could see the blue veins on his forehead, and I subconsciously took a step back. I suddenly regretted that I should not have said such things to him at such a time. If I had provoked him, how could I have avoided a beat?

Jason did not beat me, as a matter of fact, he stood still and did not move, just looked at me and said, "Kevin, you are not only blind, but stupid."

Then he turned and went out, leaving me standing there in a daze.

I just brought to myself until someone came in, and then I went out.

I just threw up and my stomach was still upset. I slowly moved to the door of the club, going to ask the waiter to call me a taxi. Suddenly a car pulled up in front of me and I recognized it as Jason's.

The window of passenger seat rolled down slowly, showing Jason's face, "Get in, I'll send you back."

I didn't want to see him and get in his car.

Jason seemed to see through my mind, he said, "This is the peak time, and it is difficult to hail a taxi."

I caught a glimpse of the busy waiter not far away and finally got in the car.

I strapped in my seat belt, and leaned back in my seat, looking blankly ahead.

As the car drove up the main road, Jason and I did not speak to each other until it stopped at a red light. I broke the silence, "Jason, how many more days are you staying in Carson City?"

Jason was looking out of the window, when he suddenly turned to look at me, "You want me to leave?"

"Jason, I apologize for what I said to you before." I also looked at him, "But we're out of the army, and Carson City is so far from our military base, I'm not sure I'll ever see Mark again. Since the day I left the army, I'm not gonna have anything to do with him anymore, so you don't have to worry about me, just go to pursue him."

I put my hand on my belly, which already had raised obviously. A man who could get pregnant, a freak. What qualifications did I have to fall in love with a man again? If Mark knew that...

Jason watched me silently until the green light came on. We were silent the rest of the way.

I left the window wide open and let the night wind blow my hair. For the first time since becoming pregnant, I felt a deep sense of powerlessness, grievance, sadness, even absurdity.

With a wry smile, I closed my eyes slowly.

I was awakened by the ringing of my own phone, when I woke up, I did not know where I was, until a hand reached into my pocket, I suddenly pressed that, turned to stare at Jason.

Jason did not seem to expect that, he took out his hand, "I'm afraid the ring will disturb you."

I took out my phone and saw it was Dr. Sun’s number.

Dr. Sun called me from time to time, but he did not call me at night. Now that he called me, there would be something important. I opened the door and got out to the back of the car and answered the phone, "Doctor?"

Dr. Sun's voice was the same as usual, "Kevin, are you at home now?"

"Yes." I said. I knew Dr. Sun didn't want me to go out, so I didn't dare tell him I was out today. "What's the matter?"

"Oh, here the things. I have got your blood test." Said Dr. Sun.

    I immediately turned nervous, "Uh-huh."

"It's okay. Don't worry, it's a little problem." Dr. Sun said.

    "What is it?" I asked.

Dr. Sun answered, "According to the results of your two tests, your platelets count is below normal. Now I will send some medicine to you."

I asked again, "Does it matter?"

I heard the door closed, and I turned to look at Jason, who was leaning against the car and watching me, so I said to Dr. Sun, "All right, see you later."

I hung up the phone and walked toward Jason, "Thank you for driving me back, now I gotta go."

Jason pointed to the phone in my hand, "Who?"

I was a little restless, "My friend, I'm going home. You drive carefully."

When I turned to walk toward the corridor, Jason suddenly took my arm, "Kevin."

I turned to look at him and heard this, "I don't like Mark."

"Oh, congratulations, you're off the hook. In that case, you don't have to pester me."

Jason was a little anxious, "Kevin, you really do not know? The man I like is not Mark..."

I pushed him away and stopped his unfinished words. I turned and hurried to the corridor, "I'm tired and I want to go home to rest..."

    "Kevin."

Jason strode to me and put a big hand on my shoulder, but I was crazy to shake off his hand, "Fuck off."

I stared at him maliciously, "I loved Mark, and I'll love him, I don't care whom you like, you are just my comrade."

Jason's eyes were full of grief, but I turned a blind eye to that, "This is the last time we meet, don't let me see you any more."

With that, I turned to leave, but Jason still wanted to keep up with me. Suddenly, with a bright light flashed, a car stopped not far away, and Dr. Sun got out to run toward us, "Kevin, what's the matter?"

Dr. Sun ran up to me and took me back two steps. He looked at Jason warily, "Who are you?"

But Jason still only stared at me, did not look at Dr. Sun. I said to him, "My friend arrives, you can go now."

    Jason still stared at me.

It was only when I could not bear to speak again that he got into the car without looking back and started off.
