I stared at Jason for a few seconds, because I just wanted to make sure that he said that to me. Then I suddenly understood his meaning, "You blame me for just leaving you by the trash can?"
Jason stared at me as if he didn't understand what I was saying. I sighed. I really wanted to leave him alone and went home to sleep, but after all, the drunkard was my former comrade, so I patiently sat down beside him.
I patted his shoulder and explained my behavior patiently, "My stomach is not comfortable these two days, and I can't bear to see you like that, but I didn't go, I was just waiting over there, just now I shouted, didn't you hear that?"
With that, I saw Jason slowly turned his head, looked down and finally stared at my lips.
I didn't wipe my mouth after dinner? I got something on my mouth?
I consciously wiped my mouth, but was stopped by Jason. He grabbed my wrist and pulled me toward him, and he leaned over to kiss me.
Oh, my gosh! This son of a bitch just had thrown up.
I could not bear that.
At the critical moment, I bent my knee toward his belly.
"Ouch!" Jason shouted, holding his belly.
I stood up and took two steps up the stairs, thinking that if he suddenly stood up to beat me, I would kick him down. For a long time, Jason was still sitting on the ground with his hands on his belly. Except for the slight rise and fall of his body, he did not have any movement.
He was so painful that he passed out?
No way. The special forces were trained to resist blows and endure pain, so he couldn't pass out, even if I kicked him in a critical position.
"Hey." I called him softly.
No response.
"Jason..." I called him again.
Still no response.
I sat down on the stairs and kicked him on the back. "Come on, get up!"
Just like a statue, Jason was motionless, and I knew he exerted his strength, or he would be kicked down.
"Son of a bitch!" I got up and walked upstairs.
Then there was footsteps behind me, I stopped and turned to look at him, holding back my anger, "I don't care if you are really drunk, now you should take a taxi back, I want to go home to sleep."
Jason rubbed his face, and said, "Sorry, tonight I drank too much, did I scare you?"
I moved the line of sight, not knowing the reason, I was a little afraid to look into his eyes, "No, you'd better go back."
Jason nodded and went back two steps. "Okay, I'll see you another day."
I opened my mouth, but did not speak, because Jason had turned and strode away.
I stood on the stairs for a moment, then went upstairs and closed the door. I leaned against the door and stared at my feet, which were beginning to swell.
I didn't see Jason for several days, as for the words of Jason, I slowly forgot that.
My life went on, but my suspension was about to expire, so I had to deal with it all over again.
I called my superior to explain my situation, only to replace pregnancy with a chronic condition. I asked Dr. Sun to write me a diagnosis and treatment sheet for chronic diseases and sent it to the police, so that I got a sick leave for ten months to keep my police status. I would return to the police force after ten months. If I could no longer serve as a criminal policeman, I would voluntarily transfer from the original post to civil service.
With that, I officially entered the mode about raising foetus.
By this time I had been nearly sixteen weeks pregnant, in other words, nearly four months.
Dr. Sun told me that the pregnancy reaction usually wore off when a woman was four months pregnant, so if nothing happened, my reaction would soon disappear. Over the next two to three months, the pregnant person's appetite gradually increased. This time was the best period for supplementing nutrition, so I could eat whatever I wanted, not too much, but I should always pay attention to monitor blood pressure and blood glucose, in order to prevent high blood pressure and hyperglycemia.
Beyond that, Dr. Sun also told me that if there was no special situation, I should not go out frequently. If there was a need for examination, he would come to my house personally. If there was a big examination like ultrasound test, he would also come to pick me up personally. If I needed to buy food, I should avoid the rush hour or just shop online.
I knew Dr. Sun cared about me, and he wanted me to avoid possible unfavorable factors in order to make sure my baby and I were safe, but I knew myself, if I really began to cut off contact with the outside world from now on, I thought I would be crazy, so when my high school classmates called me to go out for the party, I said yes.
I didn't know where they found my current number. It was the monitor of my class who asked me if I was discharged from the army.
I joined the army right out of high school, and the whole class knew about it, but I didn't tell anyone about my discharge, and I didn't know how they knew about it. I asked that question, but the monitor said, "Never mind how I know, anyway someone knows that and he has deliberately told me."
Pausing for a moment and lowering his voice mysteriously, the monitor continued, "It is she who proposes the party, you know?"
"Ah?" I was confused.
"Hah hah, you'll know when you get here. I will send you a message about the time and place later. Don't be late."
Then he hung up the phone, leaving me standing there.
After a short while, the monitor sent the message to me, and repeated it on purpose, "Everyone is missing you, and you must come."
I smiled and replied, "Okay."
The venue was a recreation club downtown. Consumption here was not cheap. I had made many contributions in the army these years, plus the annual allowance and one-time retirement allowance, my savings were quite substantial. Because of that, I didn't think about money when I was thinking about whether to have a baby, because I could afford it.
After entering the club, I found the room according to the information given to me by the monitor. After opening the door, I found that many people had arrived.
The monitor was a tall guy, when he saw me, he immediately rushed up to embrace me, "Long time no see, bro."
I patted him on the back, "Yeah."
When I was in high school, I was popular, on the one hand, I was handsome, on the other hand, I was upright enough.
After greeting with each other, a girl was pushed over, I did not understand what that meant.
The girl shyly looked up at me and said, "Kevin, do you remember me?"
