"So can I leave now?" Said Jasmine. She did not want to stay in this strange place for too long, and had to hurry home. She had been outside for two consecutive nights, which had never happened before.

"Where is the fire? You are my girl." Said Edward. "Don’t go back on an empty stomach, and you can go home after breakfast." He didn’t want Jasmine to go home so early. In fact, he would rather her stayed here forever if it was possible.

"Your girl? Edward, I’ve told you so many times that I am not your girl! Neither in the past, nor now, or in the future! I’m warning you, please be clear about our relationship!" Said Jasmine.

In her mind, Edward’s soft and gentle image had been ruined thoroughly. Now he was merely a rogue who talked about you are my girl every day.

Brad couldn’t restrain himself from laughing. It was his first time to see Edward turned down twice by the same woman in a day.

Jasmine was so gruff that Edward could not say a word yet. He could only see her leaving.

"What are you laughing at?" Said Edward. "Being a broad-minded man, sometimes you have to accommodate a wayward woman." He stared at Brad after Jasmine left. Brad was really a guy who captured every moment to mock him.

"Well, that’s enough. Let’s get back to filming details of the TV show." Said Brad. "Didn’t Jean say that she wanted to find a view overseas? She said she had already found a beautiful place before coming back from abroad." He did not want to waste time any longer, for he was up to his neck in work. He worked as Edward’s best friend, agent, assistant, and even consultant attorney.

After this conversation, he had to discuss with Director Zhang, who was in charge of this filming, about selections of the rest actors and actresses. It was better not to get upset about the fact that Edward was turned down twice.

Jasmine thought that Jenny would be sleeping in the coach and waiting for her while returning home. She didn’t expect that Jenny had already got up. After all, it already was half past eight in the morning.

"You came back so early!" Said Jenny, who was a little surprised while seeing Jasmine be back so early. After all, in her view, it took such a long time before Jasmine met her lover that she must have been back late today.

"Oh, that makes sense. It is okay that you were not taken advantage of." Said Jenny. "So did you pass the audition? And have you got the leading role?" She also cared about the result very much.

After all, she had witnessed Jasmine’s efforts during these years. If Jasmine could get the leading role this time, the road leading to a superstar would be much easier for her.

"It is a piece of cake. Of course the leading role was mine because of my excellent performance skills." Jasmine said full of confidence, who was as vigorous as before in front of Jenny.

She appreciated the recognition from Jean from the bottom of her heart.

"No, no, no, I should thank you for showing up. Otherwise, I would not have found the most perfect heroine in my mind. Ah, here we are. Please have a seat" Said Jean. She made Jasmine sit, picked up make-up, and started making her up.

Jean was making Jasmine up as the heroine of the novel, who was so desperate that she decided to marry her childhood friend at last. It was simple, not rather luxury, but elegant. Jasmine was noble and elegant set against it. And she was even more charming after changing into a white wedding dress.

"Wow, you are gorgeous!" Their relationship had already been more intimate after chatting while Jasmine was putting on make-up. Friendship between women was much easily built by make-up and dresses.

While Jean was speaking highly of Jasmine, it occurred to her that her brother Edward had discussed about Jasmine more than once. "Edward must have a look at Jasmine, who is stunning after dressing up." She thought.

"Jasmine, you are gorgeous. I’d like to take a picture of you and post it on my Weibo (Weibo is a popular social media in China, which is similar to Twitter.)." Said Jean. "Let’s go to another room to take the photo, okay?"

"Anyway, I have nothing to do right now." Jasmine thought. "It’s not my turn to take the costume photo." So she nodded.

Jean pushed Jasmine and walked toward Edward’s personal dressing room, giving a sinister smile. Unfortunately, Jasmine walked ahead and didn’t notice it.

"Ah, I didn’t bring my cellphone, Jasmine. I’m going to fetch it first. Please wait here for me." Said Jean. She shut the door and left, making a V outside.

"Brother, never say that I didn’t do you a favor."

Back from the washroom, Edward pushed the door open and saw Jasmine, who was in white wedding dress, standing in front of him. For an instance he felt his heart hit hard. He slowly came forward, softly grasped her waist, and approached her lips slowly. Jasmine was shocked and frozen with his serious look before she wondered why he would be here. Edward took the chance and kissed her soft lips which he missed so much. It was exactly the same as what in his memory.

Jasmine was panic, kicked Edward in the nuts, lifted the train of her dress, and rushed out. Edward was left behind, holding the nuts, and couldn’t speak a word because of pain.
