The phone rang in the pocket. Michael took out and checked. The massage was from Yates Wong. He was Michael’s good brother at senior high school. He was a bit dumb but he took care of brother.
They two knew each other when they came to senior high school for the first time. When Yates first met Michael, he was shoulder to shoulder with him, saying, "You look so handsome. Let us be good brothers." After that they had become good friends.
Yates’s family condition was good. After graduation, his father insisted to let him study in high school. This was the reason why he didn’t stay with Michael. If it weren’t his parents, Yates must go to the same school with Michael.
Michael told Richard Luo and his mother he had a call and went out. At the moment he picked up the phone, Yates shouted out loud, "Michael, save me!"
Michael was scared by what Yates said. He asked what was going on.
Yates said in the phone, "Michael, I will have fight with others again. Can you come to cheer up for me?"
Hearing this, Michael didn’t know what he should say.
He didn’t say anything while Yates kept saying, "Michael listen to me. This time the one who makes trouble is the deadly foe in the school. I don’t mind he making trouble. The point is that he hasn’t come personally. He has asked some guys to fight with me. How can the girls in our school say that he is handsome? I think he is only a coward. He is just little handsome. He is far from your handsome…"
"Stop, stop, stop. Don’t say that." Michael stopped Yates. He frowned and asked, "Where are you now? If I don’t come in time, you will lose utterly."
Yates looked at the persons stood on the opposite. He unwillingly told Michael the address.
Seeing Yates make call. The opposite leader sneered. He took one cigarette and laughed, "What? Are you scared? Do you want to ask for help?"
"It is none of your business." Yates hung up the phone.
After the call, Michael immediately came back to the restaurant and found an excuse to leave.
He didn’t expect that Richard came along with him. He might have something to say.
"Uncle, do you want to say something?" Michael stood at the corridor and asked.
Richard laughed and said, "Michael, I didn’t have time to say when we ate. Actually today I asked your mother to bring you here. Except seeing you, I also want to say something to you."
"I know you will have concerns if I get married with your mother. You even reject me. But no matter how, I will take care of your mother. I hope you can be sure about that.
Michael was surprised about what Richard said. He kept silence for a while and answered, "Than I will thank you, uncle."
It was more than clear. Richard feelingly said, "Though we are not that young anymore, we will still hold the wedding."
Michael left the restaurant. He took a cab and headed for Yates’s place. While talking with Richard, he didn’t know what had happened to Yates.
The place was in the alley near a senior high school. It was kind of remote. Not many pedestrians passed there. It was a good play for people who wanted to fight. But it was far from the restaurant, it took Michael half an hour to go there.
He got off the taxi and went to the alley. Michael had seen two group of people in the distance.
"Fuck!" Michael saw Yates in the crowd shouting. He hurriedly ran to Yates.
They were fighting there. Nobody noticed Michael.
Yates had fought so many times. He was experienced. But sometimes he would also fail. Michael got close to them. He didn’t have time to join them. He saw that the yellow hair kicked Yates’s balls hardly.
Michael was dumbfounded there. The crowd was dumbfounded also. Michael firstly kicked the one who kicked Yates. Other people paused there for few seconds and then they started fight again.
"Stop!" Michael shouted loudly. He took back Yates and asked, "Are you alright?"
"Speak to me! Don’t scare me!"
No matter how Michael shouted, Yates didn’t respond.
At this time, the yellow hair was thrown to the floor by Michael. He looked up at Michael. He saw Michael’s beautiful face with the sunshine.
He was shocked by this handsome face.
The crowd gradually stopped. They looked at each other helplessly then they all looked at Michael and Yates.
At this time, Michael didn’t care the others. He took Yates shoulder and shouted.
At the beginning Yates looked like a dumb. Then somehow Michael said something. Yates started to cry.
Seeing this, Michael didn’t know what he should do.
Before Michael said something, Yates shouted loudly, "Michael, my balls, my fragile balls."
"Don’t worry. Let’s go. I take you to the hospital. You will be good." Michael comforted him. He looked around and said to a man who was on Yates’s side, "Please help me call a cab."
That boy hurriedly took a cab.
Michael kept comforting Yates. But he didn’t know how Yates’s balls were now.
It seemed that Michael’s words worked. Yates didn’t shout anymore. He just wiping there.
Soon the taxi came. Michael patted Yates’s shoulder, "Let’s go. I take you to hospital."
Yates nodded.
"Can you still walk?" Michael asked.
Yates tried to move.
Michael opened the car door and wanted to let Yates in. Yates walked a few steps while he stopped at the car door.
Michael felt panic, "Do you feel uncomfortable?"
Yates didn’t say a word. He walked back to the crowd and stood in front of the opposite leader.
He wiped his tears and said viciously with his red eyes, "Tell Ab Lu. If anything happens to my balls. I won’t let him go."
That tongue, that eyes, everyone took a chill there.
Michael thought that Yates should go to the hospital at once.
He pulled back Yates and let him get in the car.
After Michael and Yates left, Yates’s brothers also left. The opposite was still there. Yellow hair didn’t leave. All remains dared not to go.
The yellow hair still looked at the place where Michael and Yates left.
"Boss, what are you looking at?" A person followed yellow hair’s eyesight. He didn’t see anything. He asked doubtfully, "They have gone. Are you scared by what that guy said before he left? Don’t worry. I didn’t spend much strength to kick him. He was a probably scared."
The yellow hair didn’t reply his words. He just said, "I have seen angel."
